I believe in the "United States of America"
as a government of the people,

whose just powers
are derived from the consent of the governed,
a Democracy in a Republic,
a sovereign Nation of many sovereign States;
a perfect union, one and inseparable;
established upon those principles of
Freedom, Equality, Justice, and Humanity
for which American Patriots sacrificed their lives and fortunes.
I therefore believe it is my duty to my country to love it,
to support its Constitution, to obey its laws, to respect its flag,
and to defend it against all enemies.

I was born an American on a hilltop in Northwestern Tennessee, near the Mississippi River. I am the eldest of four children of Christian parents, married shortly after World War II.
They sought the American Dream near Chicago in the 1950s and Southern California in the 1960s.

My Wallace surname ancestors came to the American colony of Maryland from Raphoe, Ireland in 1670. They had been Presbyterian Covenanter Scots forced to leave their lands and migrate to the Ulster Plantation.

My paternal grandmother was Eastern Cherokee and both of my maternal grandparents descended from Scots-Irish and Cherokee.

I am a two tour-of-duty, two campaign, Viet Nam Veteran.
I was an Avionics Technician in the United States Air Force for 13 years and a civilian Systems Technical Representative on the B-1B Flight Test Team at Edwards Air Force Base for 7 years.
I have worked for CENSUS 2000 and CENSUS 2010.

My family was Conservative Democrat.
I was attempting to find a parking spot, near the Ambassador Hotel, when Robert Kennedy was killed.
I became a Fiscal Conservative Republican at the end of the Carter years. I was very upset with the government, but was still very Patriotic.

I am a Conservative who is pro Women's Rights, Pro Choice, for Religious Freedom for All Religions and Beliefs and for Gay/LGBT Equality, to include Marriage.
( You may be married in a church, synagogue, temple, grove or circle, but your "Church" does NOT own Marriage! )

During my early years in the Air Force, my religious and spiritual beliefs evolved into Humanism and Cosmic Consciousness. In the '90s, I studied and practiced Druidism and Wicca. I was ordained, as a Wiccan Priest by the Covenant of the Goddess in 1997, and am a member of the Order Of The Pentacle.

I consider myself to be a Wiccan Elder
who is a High Priest during ritual.

My wife and I consider ourselves to be Wiccan Pagans and practice Wiccan ritual. A lot of what we practice is spontaneous, without ritual. We are very into Quantum Entanglement, Intent, Cosmological Evolution and believe in an Immanent Universal deity, the Life Force of our Living Universe. We honor our living planet, Gaia/Gaea, the Earth Mother aspect of the Universal deity.
( We call her "Momma" at times. )

Still, we are Patriotic Americans!
Come September 2011: Our Dream will be on the Roads, at the Sacred Places, viewing and photographing the Unique Sites & Sights, and Hidden Spaces of America in our RV home.

We are living in our RV home! We left Kansas, FOREVER, one Week ago. Now begin the Golden Years.

October 29th 2011, Cassville, MO.
We had intended to visit my daughter in NC and then head up to Salem, MA and Maine for the Samhain/Halloween weekend, when we left Kansas. But, Universe and Momma Earth had other plans for us. We wondered about the delays, now we know! We have missed all of that bad weather,. It's snowing in Salem right now. Also, missed Hurricane Irene's winds and floods. Thank You!!!

On the 9th of November, we made our way to Murfreesboro AR. We went diamond hunting in the Crater of Diamonds State Park. In Dec. it's on to Texas to "Winter" in relative warmth. NC in the Spring.

Tis April 16th and we arrived, finally, two days ago, at my daughter's house in Morganton, NC!!! We've stayed in Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Georgia, South Carolina and now North Carolina. Lots of amazing adventures and beautiful country. One thing I really noticed, this country does Not have a lack of trees!

I support the Tea Party Movement, not a "Tea Party".
I could never join a Tea Party group or attend a function, since most of them would be highly offended by my religious preference and views. I'm kinda stuck on the outside of the gameboard.
I do Not want my country to become a Socialist/Totalitarian Commune or a Christian Theocracy.

I prefer our Constitutional Republic.

The F-111 was designed to penetrate enemy defenses by high speed flight at altitudes down to 200 feet above ground level. The plane used "Terrain Following Radar" to fly itself and the pilots kept their hands

LOW FLIGHT



Oh, I've slipped the swirling clouds of dust, a few feet from the dirt.
I have flown my plane low enough to make my bottom hurt.

I've raced over desert, hills, through valleys, and mountain passes too.
Frolicked in the trees where only gray squirrels flew.

Chasing cows along the way, disturbing ram and ewe.
I've done a hundred other things you damned well shouldn't do.

I'm standing in a circle in a grove. Before the worship begins I take a look around at the different cultures and lifestyles represented. Everyone is welcome in a Pagan circle. It's such a change from the church. Different races melding together, Gay and Lesbians welcome and free to be themselves, it's such a beautiful thing because it includes anyone with a heart for the Goddess...or does it?

I am a Republican Pagan. I find it fascinating that in a religion
that allows so much freedom to be oneself that a thing like my
political party would lead to questions of my sincerity when it comes to the Goddess. Are you scratching your head and saying, "No, that can't be?" Or are you on the other end already condemning me without even knowing me? If you're in the later category what does that say about everything that we as Pagan's espouse? Freedom of yourself, your beliefs without the persecution that goes along with it? Or is it only OK when it's something that you believe yourself? Tough questions I know. However they are questions you have to ask yourself.

I am a Republican Pagan. That doesn't mean I want the Mother trampled on and polluted until we all die. That is so ridiculous. To even think that because I'm a Republican I couldn't possibly love the Mother and want to protect her. I do. Not to the cost of horse and buggy living or being without my air conditioning. I mean where I write this from it's 70 degrees and it's mid January, plus it's only 8:00 AM!! My position is to live well, with as little harm to the Mother as possible.

The one thing that I've learned from my friends the Democrat Pagan's is this: They want separation of Church and state unless it's they're church. Then it's OK to mix it. That makes them Pagan. Because they are religious with a political slant. Albeit a slant to the left. I however am accused of not being a Pagan because I'm a Republican. But wait, isn't that mixing church and state?

In Paganism we talk tolerance, but I've learned that tolerance is only given to those who believe exactly in the politically correct fashion of the Democrats or Liberalism. I would never look at another Democrat Pagan and say, "Hey, you espouse life in all it's forms, yet you'd allow an unborn human to be killed because of the mothers right to choose? You couldn't possibly be a Pagan if you feel that way because all life is sacred!" That's not my right as a Pagan. Though I've noticed it's not my right as a Pagan to feel the exact opposite of that statement.

When I was invited into my first circle what I heard was this: "How do you enter this circle?" To which I replied,
"In perfect love and perfect trust."
The next line however, was not;
"Better you rush upon this blade then to enter this circle as a Republican."

Tis the "Great Star Flag" which was flown at the U.S. Capitol Building in 1818.

Two flag designs were approved for the 20 star flag. One flag had 4 rows of 5 stars in the blue star field and the other was the

"Great Star" where the 20 stars were formed into a large pentagram.

As a historic American Flag, this flag may be displayed legally anywhere the current 50 Star Flag may be flown or displayed.

The Great Star in the field of the 1818 flag is in the shape of a Pentagram; making this the perfect American Flag to be a symbol representing Pagan Pride. I call this American Flag the "American Pagan Pride Flag".
