Prior to joining specsavers he was the Ophthalmic Director of Vision Call (Woking). He specialises in both general optometry and geriatric optometry.

Amil Shah is one of the main directors at the specsavers in Ilford. Having trained in his earlier years at a university in the north of England, helping people with their eyes has always been something that he has been interested in doing.
As well as being a sucsessfull work practitioner here in England, Amil Shah does regular eye camps abroad. Having veolunteered to work across multiple countries in both asia and africa, he continues to give freely of both his time and money in charitable eye surgery camps at least once a year.
