Amiguru-wha?

Amigurumis are dolls.Amigurumis are toys. Amigurumis are more than that!
Take your pick. Amigurumi means stuffed toy, usually knitted or crocheted. So simple. Yet, complicated as can be.

Getting Started

For the beginners

If you've just started crocheting, I wouldn't reccommend this as a first project. Crocheting in a circle (in the rounds) is harder than "regular" crocheting. I tried doing it as my first project, and boy, it did NOT look like a doll! But there's no stopping a devoted crocheter! So if you'd like, you should start off with one! My recommendation though, start with a square-shaped project, maybe a scarf, a coin purse, something to that effect, so that you could get used to crocheting first!

Hi madi! I see you put my favorite amigurumi book on your bussiness website, (And the only one I have too!) I was nearly surprised when I saw it there. Why didn't you put up your own book, by tamie snow though? It waould be nice if you did.
