Amish Furniture
The Amish are well known for their belief in hard manual labor, thrift and life lived in harmony with nature. Their beliefs, so much part of their very existence, reflects on the attention they lavish on anything that they do. Their attention to detail and obsession with quality reflects in all that they create and market.
All the furniture made by the Amish is made exclusively from the best quality, solid oak or cherry and maple hardwoods. Each piece is lovingly hand crafted and that is what makes them stand out from mass produced furniture. Each piece in time will become a cherished heirloom as; the furniture is built to last very long.
Our sources in the Amish community are from some of the best craftsmen, who take pride in their workmanship. They lavish so much attention on what they produce, that each piece that comes out of their toil is a masterpiece.
After each individual piece of Amish furniture is assembled together to form the final piece, it is transported to our workshop. There, a staining agent, certified by the Amish as the correct one, is applied and the piece is allowed to dry under controlled conditions. Each piece of furniture is then hand sanded, to ensure that it reaches you in pristine condition.
