Free Range Meats & Organic Grains

Our pets are exposed to all  the chemicals we are, and maybe even more.  Thankfully, the Amish have created an organic pet food business, using their free range chicken, hormone, antibiotic and pesticide free, and using organic grains from their own farms.  You won't find healthier animals than the Amish have, and they have kept them healthy with a great diet in the same way for  hundreds of  years.  They are sharing this with us now!

Because of the poisoned pet food tragedy I have included other links lower down the page to suppliers of safe foods.  You may add any links that you have found to be good, reliable and trustworthy.   Read THIS before you buy  any more commercial  food!

My deepest sympathy to anyone  who has lost a pet this way. (8800- oops, now 9400 and counting? My brother lost two...)

Please let me know if there are any boycotts forming, any community action projects to demand an end to imported foods that we can, and should be, raising ourselves in America- "The World's Breadbasket?".

Critical Food Alert- Chinese Imports Poisoning Our Pets Food!!

And OURS TOO!!!

Many people have just experienced the heartbreak of having their beloved pets poisoned by Chinese imported wheat. My brother seems to have lost two pets that way, as have so many others.

It is time for Americans to understand that importing our food is EXTREMELY DANGEROUS for ourselves and our pets. America is the breadbasket of the world- why should we pollute our environment by importing poisoned food from the other side of the planet, while we export food we need that is grown here?

This is NOT the first time that Chinese food has been proven dangerous. 'Organic' milk that Walmart and other major retailers want to import from China actually poisoned 250 Chinese children! China is a toxic hell-hole, and our food companies are importing it to make a few extra bucks!!!

See my Amish Farm lens for the information about the poison Chinese organic milk.

About this organic Amish pet food: they are SWAMPED WITH ORDERS. I still recommend this food as probably one of the only safe resources for pet food anymore. You will need to be VERY PATIENT when you order, because the Amish can't make it fast enough.

In the meantime, you are able to make your own food with a basic recipe that includes high protein foods, corn meal, and meat products. Purchase high quality AMERICAN flour. I will seek out good dog food recipes so you can feed and protect your pets.

IT IS TIME TO DEMAND A CHANGE IN OUR CORPORATION'S BEHAVIOR BEFORE MORE ANIMALS, AND EVEN CHILDREN, DIE FROM POISONED IMPORTED FOODS.

I have added two places at the bottom- one to share good food sources and the second to share the links to the corporations that import food from known environmentally toxic countries. Please add any links you find!

Great to see a lens with decent information about home-making dog food - many thanks. I agree that this is the way forward for owners who want to be sure of what the ingredients in their pet's food is. As ever of course it is a good idea to consult with a vet before making changes to a pet's diet. Hal from http://www.squidoo.com/buybestdogfood
