Caring for Precious Quilts with Quilt Racks, Clamps & Shelves
The Amish are justly famous for their quilts, but not so much for their quilt racks, stands and clamps. They have several styles of quilt racks which are shown here. But for display, they also have quilt shelves and quilt clamps which beautifully hang the quilts without damage. If you have heirloom or handmade art quilts that you want to store or hang, take a look at these wonderful pieces.

Amish Quilter's Salad
by Louise Lambright
1 pkg chopped cabbage/carrots3/4 c diced onions
1 c slivered almonds roasted in 2 tbsp oil
1 pkg cooked ramen noodles
Dressing:
1/2 c oil
3 tbsp sugar
2 tbsp white vinegar
1 tsp salt
1 pkg ramen chicken noodle seasoning
After almonds are roasted in oil, pat dry on paper towel and cool. Combine almonds, cabbage mixture and cooked noodles.
Separately mix the dressing ingredients and toss into the salad. Serve immediately.
