A Shrinking Mommy
Hello Everyone,
My name is Wendy, I'm 27 years old and a mother of 2 wonderful boys.
As for my weight well, I had always been "skinny", I could eat and never worry about my weight. I was very active in highschool, with cheerleading, stilts, ballet, track, and even preparing for plays and talent shows.
When I got pregnant with my first son, 6 years ago (July 2003) I was so naive, I thought that after I had my son my body would bounce back to normal, after all at 5 months pregnant (17 wks) I was 107 lbs. The day I delivered my son I weighed 198 lbs, my heaviest ever, even to this day. After this, I was done having kids, sad but it's how I thought.
I mean, how could I be a good mom, if I barely had any energy to get up let alone chase after him? I hit a severe depression, I couldn't stand walking by a mirror. I tried every diet, and once I stopped breastfeeding, I believe I just about tried every diet pill out there.
It took me 2 years after I had my son to lose weight, and it all started to happen when my ex husband finally agreed and signed the divorce papers back in 2006, I was slowly regaining my freedom and my life. One of my 2 wonderful and beautiful best-friends and I took pictures for myspace, and I was horrified by what I saw. I was done! End of April 2006 I decided to do whatever it took to lose it. At that point I was 168 lbs. I was wearing 16's and they were tight. Ugh! I started working out all the time, and signed up for 2 different aerobic classes at the college on top of my 14 units of my reg classes. In between work, school and my son I thought I was going to die. I stopped eating, and would only consume water and sunflower seeds. I'm ashamed to admit that, but I can't just press the delete button and pretend it never happened. I went down to 135 lbs by July. In September, I was eating again, and I was 130 lbs, by the end of October I found out I WAS PREGNANT AGAIN!!! OMG!!!
I was terrified my body wasn't baby ready.
This time, I went up to 175 lbs, and I was active during pregnancy, except for my bedrest after going into preterm labor at 30 wks. That really messed me up. I now weigh 140 lbs. I have gone psycho excersizing, and counting calories, and doing about everything possible and safe cause I'm breastfeeding. My ultimate goal is to go down to 115 lbs. I have 25 lbs to go, and I've lost 35 lbs so far. I will do just about anything and everything to lose the remaining weight, I want to run after my kids, go shopping and be able to wear sexy lingerie for my boyfriend and keep the lights ON and the hands covering me off me! lol I want to be healthy and happy again. To run 2.5 miles in 15 minutes, and not feel like I'm dying. I could do all that before, and I know I'll get there again.

Only 25 lbs to go...
I'm soooo mad at myself. I have been using a ball that resembles my future purchase. The BenderBall.com, is absolutely amazing!!! I love it, and I can't wait to have the actual ball and videos in my possesion.
Unfortunately diapers, wipes and baby, plus toddler stuff comes first. Ah, joys of parenting! I love my boys and I wouldn't have it any other way.
Alright, so let's get moving, I need to pop in a movie and start working out in the living room, twice a day ain't bad. I had under 1000 calories today and burned about 400 earlier. Lets aim for another 400 at least. I want to be in the 130's before October 1st. That's my mini goal.
I didn't take a pic today, but my recent pic is above with the red shirt. It was taken Sat Sept 8th 2007 when I hit 140. So that being said, gotta go, benderball's calling!
9-12-07
Ok, so nothings changed weight wise. Same weight this morning, and I'm not stressing. I always hit plateaus for a few weeks, then it's back on track. I've upped my protein intake again, and am drinking water up the wazoo. Last night, I popped Hills Have Eyes 2 in the dvd and started working out. Not bad, I've seen the movie several times, so I didn't have to constantly look at the screen to know what was happening. I started by jogging in place for the first 20 minutes, then moved onto kicks and punches (thanks to Billy Blanks) and eventually moved on to the ground to work with my little benderball, I was tired by the time the movie was done. But quite pleased with myself.
I want to go hiking. I think it'd be a great workout. Besides it's a beautiful day.

It's a home boot camp for 90 days, and you can expect and will see results. It's hard work however, and I know that I couldn't handle it right now, even though I have the motivation I might die. lol So, as soon as I'm fit and capable of breathing easier (I have Asthma btw) I'll be working out to this.

I love this stuff!!!
I have never been so happy following a dvd before, let alone actually feel my body getting the greatest workout ever. And trust me, I work out a lot.
I know I've been shrinking quite a bit, so with diet and exercise I've been getting there, and YBB being my new weapon to fight the bulge, I'm a very happy woman.

138 lbs
Getting there...
I feel great since I've been eating btw, my biggest meal is breakfast, I figure, if I'm going to eat big let it be in the morning so I have the rest of the day to burn it off. Besides, I have more energy that way, not to mention I'm concious about the rest of the day. I'm eating about 1600 - 1800 calories now, I was only at 1000, with some days going for 1100.
Well, it wasn't good for me, nor my breastmilk. Either way, 138 is a beautiful number at the moment. I'm still doing my YBB and today was day 12, I do everday twice daily. I'm in love!
HIIT
Not bad...
Ok, so according to the site I saw it on, it said that by doing HIIT your body continues to burn calories, sometimes for as long as 36 hours later. Hey, why not!? I've tried about everything out there anyway.
So, I followed the initial workout, to get you started and used to how this works...
This is 12 minutes long and you can adjust it to how it works for you. But believe me, after 8 minutes I was sweating and breathing heavy.
For the first 4 minutes, jog, plain and simple jog. Then after those 4 mins are up, sprint (run really fast) for 30 seconds, then jog for 30 seconds and so on until you've done this 6 times, or 6 minutes. The last 2 mins remaining are your cool down, keep jogging but slow down until you can stop.

Soooo, after being gone for what seems like forever, I had to come back and inform that I just got (back in Aug 2009) one of the newest programs from beachbody INSANITY ... It's by Shaun T ... the same guy from Hip Hop Abs and it's absolutely the hardest work out dvd Ive ever tried yet... its the fastest one for results. IT'S TRULY AMAZING... I'm attaching a pic so you can see the difference it did to my body in just one 1 month ... had to stop for personal issues, but I'm back to working out now and going at it strong... I'll have sooo much more info on this coming soon, because truly this is def the best work out program out there. Anywho and everyone should try it and trust me, you'll love it! & your body will thank you! =) MY TOP AMAZON PICKS!

- Hi there! It's great that I've come across this site of yours! My sister would certainly want to lose a lot of weight! We heard recently that a book by Craig Ballantyne called Turbulence Training can also help people lose weight. Have you come across with this? anyway, thank you for sharing this lens to us! By the way, you look very young be a mother! It seems you're just holding your baby brother right there! Great job on your lens! Keep up the good work!
