Distinctive Design
Most of Amy Butler's fabrics are 100% cotton and are just perfect for crib and kids' bedding, home decor, quilting and fashion. Amy Butler originally used her design for handbags and purses only. Her design is inspired by her surroundings: friends, family, nature, and the rich textures of everyday life. Hence its simplicity, variety and harmony.
This lens will showcase Amy Butler crib sets that I had the privilege to make, but will also feature various Amy Butler fabric series and products made out of them. Finally, resources will be listed for those interested in the fabric and/or the bedding.

Fabric by Amy Butler
The comforter is reversible and piped also in Grey wall flower.
I enjoyed working with such bright and vibrant fabric and the crib set was so unique once complete.
Amy Butler fabrics are wonderful when combined together. The ensemble is just a burst of rich colors, harmonious patterns that you either absolutely love or ... not.
The print fabrics are also great when used with coordinate solid prints as shown on the lens photo above. The vibrant red piping only exaggerates the beauty of the Morning Glory floral material used as main fabric on both the bumper and the comforter.

Her approach-drawing its inspiration from her natural surrounding and the people she is in touch with -is stylishly organic and shines through the whole Midwest Modern collection.
The first collection Midwest Modern was followed by the second which uses the same prints but with different colors.
