Do We Really Want an Honest President?

Honesty and candor are qualities that have been sadly missing in Washington for the past seven years. The Democratic race appears to be getting down to two candidates that present a clear contrast.

The ONE QUALITY most important to voters this year is honesty. We want a President that is inclusive, not secretive, upfront and honest, not prone to double-speak and deflection. It is VITAL that our next President has the verbal and negotiation skills necessary to bring people together internationally and the intelligence and keen judgment to make important decisions.

If HONESTY is truly important to you, watching the videos will present a clear result. It's time for change.

Don't forget to VOTE in our Presidential Honesty Poll.

Why We Need Change

by James McMurtry

There are numerous reasons we need change -- the economy, the War, the destruction of the middle class and the outsourcing of high paying jobs, the tragic state of education, healthcare, etc. I could go on and on but James McMurtry captures the true feeling of desperation in today's America.

Dishonest Presidents

The Most Dishonest

George Bush wins the Award for the Most Dishonest President as his administration has been the most secretive and has blatantly lied to the American people on many occasions, the most blatant of all being the orchestrated evidence that justified his entrance into Iraq. Mission Accomplished.

The Biggest Liar

Nobody can rival Bill Clinton for his ability to look directly into the camera and tell a bold-faced lie. Remember, "I did not have sexual relations with that woman"? This week he outdid himself with his distortion of Barack Obama's words and Bill's new catch phrase, "I'm not making this up". He made it up.

The Biggest Crook

Richard Nixon was the biggest crook to ever grace the White House in modern times. His Watergate caper made him famous and he was forced from the White House in disgrace. His greatest crime, however, was very likely his participation in the planning and coverup of the Kennedy assassination along with George HW Bush, then head of the Florida CIA.

The Brave President Who Tried to Warn Us

President Eishenhower was very fearful at the rising influence of men like Prescott Bush, Averill Harriman, and others seeking unlimited power. During his Farewell Address to the Nation January 17, 1961, Eisenhower tried to warn the American people saying: "We have been compelled to create a permanent armaments industry of vast proportions. We must not fail to comprehend its grave implications. In the councils of government, we must guard against the acquisition of unwarranted influence, whether sought or unsought, by the military-industrial complex. The potential for the disastrous rise of misplaced power exists and will persist. We must never let the weight of this combination endanger our liberties or democratic processes. We should take nothing for granted".

I'm an Obama supporter too, and have grown very weary of the Clinton's. Hillary lost the nomination over a month ago.

    Margaret,

Thanks for the post. I would like to point out that the other two Democratic candidates, John Edwards and Barack Obama have both promised to remove all troops from Iraq in the first year in office. I agree that this needs to end. Change is mandatory.

Love the video. Too bad there's not a single democrat that wants out of the war or to bring our jobs back. Plus they want to re-elect the ones (Clinton) who sold us down the river in the first place. This has to end...
