Anaheim DJ Recommends Happy Trails Catering in Pasadena
Anaheim DJ makes recommendations on many of the venues we perform at in Southern California. Moving outside of Orange County we find ourselves working with some of the most courteous, professional wedding venues and vendors in the area. Today we'd like to offer a few words about a wonderful garden setting in Old Pasadena.
If you're looking for a great spot to have your wedding in the Pasadena area, you might want to take a look at Happy Trails Catering. They are inconspicuously located on S. Fair Oaks Ave., kind of tucked away behind the bustling city street buildings. Like a "secret garden", they have a court yard built around one of the oldest granddaddy camphor trees in town. This huge tree is like a giant umbrella over the entire garden area. Absolutely gorgeous! They've built a marvelous deck around this tree which sets it as the focal point of the garden. And what a great spot for the wedding ceremony. Seats are positioned in front of the deck stairs in the flagstone/grassy area for the ceremony which are then later repositioned for dining, thus opening up the space for dancing with the DJ (or band).
Every time Anaheim DJ has performed at this pretty venue we've noticed how nice the staff has been. Their tasty food has always been colorfully presented and proudly served by the smiling servers.
The way the yard is set up, it can be a bit tricky to get the DJ's sound evenly distributed unless you're using a system such as our Bose PS1 surround sound system. With the way this system distributes the sound, your guests will be able to hear everything voiced over the microphone (toasts, announcements) no matter where they are seated, even behind the tree and deck. The cocktail and dinner music will be heard with crystal-clear fidelity.
Happy Trails Catering is a pleasure to work with. They are really good at coordinating all of the necessary arrangements with the vendors, keeping the pace smooth and courteous. Anaheim DJ always presents multiple copies of our Brides' timelines to the various vendors. Happy Trails has consistently been easy to work with as we synchronize our formalities, such as cake cutting, buffet releases, etc. As the event progresses and we move through the last dance, we'll traditionally end off with Roy Rogers and Dale Evans' "Happy Trails to You...Until We Meet Again".

Happy Trails Catering can help you with much more than Weddings. They also cater to fine affairs such as Anniversaries, Reunions, Bar/Bat Mitzvas, Holiday Events, Birthdays and... wouldn't you know... Picnics. Hey why not have a nice big family picnic at this lovely garden. Why not hire Anaheim DJ, too ;-)If it's just the great food you want, these folks also offer Carry-Out Catering. I mean you can't order pizza all the time. When it's time to go fancy and have awesome gourmet delights at your home, or at a different location, you can't go wrong with HTC. They can arrive with their own waiters, waitresses and bartenders to pass around hors d'oeuvres, serve salads, entrees, side dishes, deserts, or whatever your personal palette dictates. Happy Trails also offers rented china, silver and glassware. You can go super-fancy or super-simple or somewhere in-between.
Their menus are compiled from fresh ingredients and are served as quickly as possible to your scheduled dinner announcement. These folks are also very flexible and will cater to your own recipes if you like. They take lots of pride in tailoring the menus to their clients' own particular tastes.
I don't like to reiterate when I do a Venue Review, but Happy Trails' staff is very courteous. They are spot-on to take care of the guests and they pay close attention to all of the finest details. They know their equipment well and will make sure that everyone is smiling.
