Lesson Plans, Worksheets, Videos, Games, Books, & More!

We are learning about the fascinating human body that God created in our homeschool! We use some traditional textbooks, but also like to watch videos, make combination lapbook / notebooks, reading "living books", do hands-on activities, and play games! When I searched around the web looking for materials to use to enhance our studies, I sure found some cool things which make learning unforgettable! I wish I had these study aids when I was first studying biology and health! I'll add more as I find them - please share below any cool sites that you know kids will enjoy!

** All Human Body Graphics special thanks to Phillip Martin!**

"High Five". I really enjoyed browsing the wide range of topics here on your lens. The HTML coding with the boxes around the sections really enhanced the layout and ease of how it read. Good job here. I might include it on my squidoo for teachers. Lens!

P.S. What is The Homeschool Club?

The Homeschool Club is real parents and kids sharing their best resources for great homeschooling. Each day we celebrate learning by opening doors to a world of creativity, knowledge and discovery. In the car, at the kitchen sink, and down by the frog pond - the whole world is our classroom and we explore it with creative projects, games, and activities. This club is a place to share, organize, and discuss how and what we learn in the world.

When my oldest child was in about 1st grade, we joined the "Magic School Bus Club" via Scholastic Books. Each month they sent one of the MSB books plus a similar kit like this that made hands on learning fun and memorable! My youngest child in elementary school still enjoys reading the books and playing with the items from our old set. Well worth the investment!
