Anchor Hocking are an American maker of glass ware that has been established since 1905. Along with Pyrex, they made glassware that could go into the oven for baking.

They have since expanded to make glass storage containers that can go into the oven, microwave, fridge, freezer and dishwasher - in fact the ultimate versatile glass kitchen ware. They've won awards from the Good Housekeeping Institute and specialise in retro kitchen ware.

The Anchor Hocking Trueseal Range

The Anchor Hocking Trueseal Range was tested by the Good Housekeeping Institute and given a perfect score for air tightness.

The glass bowls and dishes are made from tempered glass and can go safely into the microwave and oven, as well as into the fridge, freezer and dishwasher. The lids are made from BPA free plastic and come with a tab for easy removal, as well as a window so you can see what is inside. The lids can be washed on the top rack of the dishwasher.

All these containers are made in the USA.

Anchor Hocking Refrigerator Storage

The Anchor Hocking Refrigerator Storage Range is a set of vintage style glass storage containers of the type they produced in the 1950's.

Both the lids and the containers are made of glass, and the containers and lids can go in the microwave, fridge and dishwasher (note these are not for freezing or oven cooking).

    I've never had them, but I am also familiar with Pyrex. I loved the Pyrex so I would imagine I would love the Anchor Hocking as well.

    Somehow, I didn't notice I cut off the rest of my comment. WT?!

    Anyway, pyrex and anchor hocking are similar products. I have pyrex because they were a gift. Came in handy! I ended up being a mom to 7 kids. Made lots of cakes, cupcakes, cookies, etc... LOL!

    I love pyrex. If you take care of them, they will last a very long time. I've had mine since 1994!
