2012 According to the Mayans
As you probably already know, the Mayans predicted that cataclysmic global events will occur on December 21st, 2012. It could really suck if you're birthday is on December 21st! (I actually know someone with that birthday).
So what are you're thoughts on this prediction?
Do You Believe the Mayan's Prediction for 2012?

Yes to a Point, something will happen
poddys says:
They did have an amazing way of determining events, so there is no reason to not believe this. I just hope it doesn't happen, but there are a lot of things that happened eons ago that we are only just beginning to understand.
Sannart says:
It's changing right now...can't you tell? Consciousness is finally expanding to a new level. :)
I-sparkle says:
Yes. The world will undergo a definite change.
No way, it's all bunk!
texasshutterbug says:
The 2012 prediction is is western belief that has been interpreted within the calendar. The calendar is just a mirror of cycles such as seasons but not a day when the world will come to an end. None the less its a good story. What the Mayan's do tell us is that abusing resources can result in a dramatic change in how we live today.
Kimbesa says:
Not the way many people talk about it. Things just are going "over the hill" further than could be seen at the time of the prediction.
GrammaLinda says:
No, I don't believe it.

- I have seen the Mayan ruins at Tikal in Guatemala and Copan in Honduras, plus several others in El Salvador and Mexico. Their society was amazing, and like many others most likely a relic of other much older cultures from the time of the Ancient Ones. The works of Zecharia Sitchin seems to me the only theories that link the past together in a logical way.
