Home on the hill 'Maplecroft'

Lizzie's dream home up the hill

July of 1893, only a few weeks after she was acquitted , Lizzie and Emma moved into a grand Victorian house at 306 French St.. Lizzie called the 13-room house Maplecroft...Emma, after an unclear dispute with her sister, moved out of Maplecroft and removed to Newmarket, New Hampshire. The two never spoke again. She would reside there for the rest of her life. After a long illness, Lizzie died at Maplecroft on 01 June, 1927 she was 67 and Emma died at the age 76 only a few days later on 10 June 1927, after a fall down the stairs at her home.

Have you heard the Smothers Brothers song? Its really good.

Yesterday in Old South River Mr Andrew Borden died and they got his daughter Lizzie on a charge of homicide, Some folks say she didn't do it and others say of course she did....

But they all agreed that Lizzie B is a problem kind of kid

'Cause you can't cut your mother up in Massachussets, (Even if its planned as a surprize)

No You can't cut your mother up in Massachusetts, Massachusetts is a far cry from New York.

lol Of course, they did better than I have!
