Android Vs Iphone

Although both devices are quite impressive one thing that Android has over Apple is that it seems to bring out new and better devices on the market every few months, whereas Apple tends to bring out a new device every year. With both systems, each new device that enters the market is bigger and better than the one before.

For example, Apples new Iphone 4 has a front facing camera, 5 megapixel rear facing camera, high definition 720p video recording, three-axix gyroscope, 960x640 resolution 3.5 inch LED display and longer battery life.

While the Android - Droid X has HDMI output, 854x480 resolution 4.3 inch display, 720p video recording and 8 megapixel camera with flash.

Customize

With the Android system you can personalize the look and behavior of your phone. You can have your home screen set up with your favorite widgets. You can also set up screens for your most important applications such as texting, social network sites, email, contacts and more.

Multitask

One feature I love about Android is that you can have multiple applications running at the same time and easily switch between them. There are also status alerts to let you know if something changes.

Social Network

If you love social networking then you can set up your home page to include your favorite networking site widgets, like Facebook and Twitter.

Browse the Web

Android has a built in web browser that let's you feel just like you are browsing the web on a PC. There is Flash support and the page loading time is quite fast.

Android Apps

There are literally thousands of apps available on the Android market and the possibilities of apps to choose from to download onto your phone are endless. There are games, music and so much more that your Android phone will keep you occupied for hours.

Multitasking

With the Iphone you can run multiple applications at once and switch between tehm instantly. You can listen to music while sending an email or you can watch the ball game while writing a text.

Folders

It is easy to organize apps into folders on your home screen with simple drag and drop feature. You can have fast access to all your favorite apps at your finger tips.

iBooks

You can easily read ebooks on the Iphone and iBooks is an amazing place to shop for new books at any time. You can even since iBooks with your iTunes program on your PC.

Phone

It is as simple as tapping a name or number to make a call on the iPhone. There is also the option of visual voicemail so you can play your new voicemail messages in any order.

As I said earlier I have an Android phone so I'm a little biased toward Android.

One feature that Android has and iPhone doesn't, and a very important one I think, is that Android is available on a large range of phones and tablets, unlike iPhone that is only available through Apple.

You have such a wide selection of phones that are Android powered and can have them through many phone providers. So you aren't as limited as what you are with iPhone.

Other than that they both offer great features and are both a lot of fun! But my vote goes for the Android!
