Susan G Komen: Race for the Cure

In 2008, Komen Greater NYC raised over $5.2 million, which allowed it to fund more than $3.8 million in grants and research. I participated in that event in 2008. I was also diagnosed with Breast Cancer that same year. This year marks the 20th anniversary of Susan G Komen. This year also marks the 2nd anniversary of me being cancer free. This year you can donate in support of Breast Cancer, Rally for the Cure, Sleep in for the Cure, as well as Race for the Cure. It is never too late to donate or volunteer in any way you can. I know from first hand experience, you are supporting a worthy cause and helping lots of people nationwide.

Register for the next: Race for the Cure Event in Central Park on September 12, 2010.

On October 30, 2008, I had a sentinal lymph node biopsy and a tumor was removed in the early stages of Breast Cancer. I was diagnosed with Stage I Breast Cancer and my own information on Breast Cancer may have saved my life. As a Breast Cancer Survivor, I am commited to continue to support finding a cure for Breast Cancer. Help me with these efforts by purchasing a jar candle available through my Online store at Scent-Sations. All proceeds will go to Breast Cancer Research.

You are doing great job, most of the women are don't know facts about breast cancer. Prevention is better than cure the proverb is right for cancer. Clearly breast cancer awareness in women is the only solution to prevent this.
