Angel Whispers

Today I wanted to chat about the latest "in name" to call yourself if you are blessed enough to be able to hear and receive guidance from your angels,in other words if you are able to "talk" to them.

One of the favourites is to call yourself an Angel Whisperer..I find this hysterically funny,seeing as people who are real Whisperer's normally are talking about studying an animals behaviour and being able to "read" what that animal means in our own language..in other words they are able to see the animal and after sometimes years of studying their various behaviours they are able to read them..whispering actually dosen't come into it as you'll have guessed by now..so..obviously you are never going to be able to call yourself an angel "whisperer" since they are energy..which for the most part we can't see all of the time..not only that but since they want to communicate with us they generally would speak in our own language..what would be the point of them using dialogue we are not familiar with? This is why they'll try to grab our attention with something we love such as music,or maybe if you are a lover of nature,a nature angel will try to get a message across to you via nature..ie the clouds..how many of you have seen heart shaped or even angelic shaped clouds when you've taken the time to look?

To be honest the use of fancy sounding names such as Angel Whisperer etc really annoy me..as it kind of implies that the person using these names is superior in ability than either you or me..again ridiculous..as the angels wish to talk to all of us..their love is unconditional..so no you do not need to be an expert or to have a piece of paper saying that you are qualified to speak to them..unless you want to do so for yourself

Another new name out is..wait for it Angel Medium..pllllleasssssse..this one angers me even more than the last..if you take one thing from this post..please remember we ALL have a sixth sense,we can ALL speak to angels,spirit guides,loved ones that have passed..so we are all clairvoyant,clairaudient,and some of us are born with clairsentience as well...some people are more empathic than others..but as for the other "gifts" we are all born with them...so please remember this next time you see a new fancy name out..be your own best guru and guide and don't be taken in!!xxxx

It never ceases to amaze me just how careful you have to be out there when selecting someone to do a reading for you..back in the days when I was new to Spiritualism I was easily fooled{and impressed!!}by people claiming to be Mediums or saying they had a Psychic gift..if there is one thing I am passionate about these days,it is empowering people..not only to realize that every single one of us has a sixth sense..but also to be open and honest about what is going on in the Spiritual world..as many of you have no doubt discovered..there are alot of Psychics and Mediums out there,but not all of them are Spiritual,and not all of them have as much knowledge or experience as they would like you to think!

Many websites offer "Free Readings" as a thankyou to their members or to attract new members to their websites and what they are doing there,I have done this myself,but what I have discovered upon eagerly signing up for these free readings are that many of them are automated..much to my shock and dismay..these "Mediums/Psychics" were not relying on Spirit Guides and Angels to give their members a free "gift" but were either copying angel messages directly from well known angel experts such as Doreen Virtue or Chrissie Astell..there are also any amount of Free angel card readings online..easily copied and sent off to members as a "free reading"..free these readings most certainly are,but they have nothing to do with giving a genuine angel card reading..and anyone,if they had the same book,could have accessed this information very easily for themselves!!

To say this annoys me is the understatement of the year ...

How can you tell if your reading is automated..quite easily..I recently signed up to a website on Webs..I won't mention the name of the site,but the lady was offering Numerology readings..I was interested as this is very different to what I do,so I thought I'd give it a try..I eagerly requested a reading..it arrived in my inbox almost instantly..a very long,in depth...automated reading.

Being a reader myself I know that a reading of that length would take days to complete..not minutes..I also find it questionable that these "readers" are then hoping you will pay money for a reading from them..if their freebies are automated,it makes you seriously wonder if their paid services are also done in the same way.

Copied Angel readings are harder to spot..if you're inexperienced or don't have that many Angel decks,there's a good chance you wouldn't know the difference which is very worrying..having several angel decks myself..and having requested free readings several times,I can honestly say that I only got one genuine freebie out of all of them..the rest were from doreen virtue and chrissie astell's angel insights deck..copied almost word for word.

Another thing to watch out for is fake testimonies,being empathic I "hear" what is being said as if it is spoken out loud,even if it is printed words on a website..another way to spot them is to look at the grammer being used..very often if a testimony is fake,the writer will use the same words/spellings several times in a row..watch out for the punctuation also as this is a dead giveaway.

Please be careful out there,and it goes without saying that all my readings,including the free ones are done by intuition and the help of my spirit guides and angels.

Call me cynical,but what is it with all the lastest "angel experts" being blonde..does this make them more "angelic" or better able to do angel card readings? I think not! Don't get me wrong I have nothing against blondes,and back in my younger days eagerly tried out this hair colour myself with the help of lots of bleach and hair dye..after all blondes have more fun right? I soon decided to revert to my natural red hair after realizing that being blonde did not suit me at all and made my hair very strawlike in the process..but seriously,I do find it very funny that everyone seems to be imitating Doreen Virtue..in fact one well known "Angel Expert" and I use the term loosely with regard to this lady,originally had brownish hair,but now she is a very light blonde as well..and extremely well known with regards to her "Angel Work"

Even the lesser known Angel Ladies seem to think that they must have blonde hair in order to be successful,I have seen several websites where the ladies have very blonde hair..oh,well from personal experience I can promise all my members that the Angelic Realm are not only attracted to working with those of us that have blonde hair..they are unconditional and seem to like being around me,in spite of the fact I can be very cynical at times,and that my hair has been bright auburn since I was a little girl

I can't help but find it very funny,and wonder if I'm the only one who's noticed it?

This is NOT directed at anyone here,it is just some of my experiences in various spiritual & support groups in recent years*

Watch out for people who are too sickly sweet when they are first getting to know you,particularly in support groups and spiritual groups,it is one thing to be warmly welcomed,but quite another when they are literally fawning all over you,if you get that creeped out feeling in your gut..pay attention..it could well be a warning sign..

Another type of person I've come across in these type of groups are the Ones That Have All the Answers,watch out for anyone that claims to have The Secret to how you can transform your life,but is coy about actually posting this up for all to see,instead inviting people to plead with them for the answers..chances are,you already know the answers and may well have worked on them years before,perhaps due to stress or illness you may have forgotten what you know..sure they might have something new to share with you,but why should you be made to feel "less than" them because they have more knowledge than you on any particular subject? Ask yourself why the person feels the need for you to beg for their wisdom instead of just sharing it for all their members to read.

There is such a thing as humility when realizing you know more than someone else,and sharing what you know in a loving way,not a condescending way is how I believe you should go about it.

If you find yourself reverting to behaviours you may have used in the past,such as feeling you need to be over friendly towards this person so that they will share what they know..gushing over them in a way that does not feel comfortable to you..yet you feel compelled to do it,so they will reveal their "secrets"..beware! It is a huge red light to alert you to Stop!

Sometimes these people offer their words of wisdom and their "knowledge" in such a way that you feel as if you are a child back in school,again if this happens,start backing off fast!!

Then there's another type of person ,the one who believes My Way Is The Only Way..often they will cite their many years of experience in the subject which immediately makes you feel that they probably know more than you do.

They don't,they know only what has worked for them.It does not mean it is going to work for you too.

Be wary of those who are keen to get you to open up...against your wishes..it is perfectly acceptable to open up if you feel comfortable doing so,but if you are starting to feel pressured to "reveal all" and yet you know you don't want to..it is a huge red flag,

If someones methods are making you uneasy,it is perfectly okay to back off,you do not have to do anything just because someone insists that you're not going to get better or progress any further,if you don't listen to them..

Listen to Yourself

Believe me I know that going against your better instincts in these kind of groups can do more harm than good.

There is no One Size Fits All when it comes to either Healing from past issues,Developing Your Spirituality or dealing with Emotional Illness.

Take only what resonates with you from these groups,whether they be online or offline..and know when to start getting some distance between you and a person who is making you uncomfortable ,pressurized or who is making you feel just plain stupid for not having all the answers.

I've found that Spiritual groups and Support Groups are the absolute worst ones for attracting some of the most disturbed people online.

Many are in it for their own egos,it makes them feel good to be looked up to and almost worshipped by those of us who feel that we could never have their gifts,knowledge or wisdom.

Some are in it because they are disordered individuals who enjoy playing some very spiteful games with the more innocent and trusting among us...in other words,they get a kick out of it.

Be Careful out there and Always Trust Your Gut!
