Angel Communication is for Everyone
Angel communication resource including free online angel oracles, recommended books, music and meditations for guidance in opening your own channels to the angels, links to angel communicators and artists, and articles about how to communicate with angels.
Angel communication is becoming much less of something reserved for special people and more something that everyone can do. I am able to channel angelic messages the more traditional way, but as I've been working on this lens lately the message has come to me that I should let people know that they are talking to the angels all the time, in many ways. It's coming to me as I write this that we humans have divorced ourselves from our own angels in such a way that they seem separate, yet the angels are a part of each of us. A part of us that has been neglected, ignored and shut down.
The easiest way to talk to an angel is to write a dialogue with them. Make it up. It will still be valid. If it makes you feel good and loved, you've made the connection. If you get frustrated, the angels are still there. They're just helping you through some negative feelings.

Although Doreen Virtue is the name most people think of first in connection with angel communication, Jane Howard Feldman was one of the first to write a book about it. I've had this book since it was first published in 1992 and after picking it up again recently I was struck by how valuable it is. And also how much on the same angel wavelength she and I are, even though I'm not sure I've ever read the book straight through or if I have, it hasn't been for 15 years.
It is a very readable manual for communicating with your angels in different ways. There are guided meditations throughout, as well as stories of how angels have helped Ms. Feldman's clients and herself.

My favorite chapter is Attune to the Angels. Like me, Ms. Feldman believes that the angels will attune themselves to you simply if you ask them too. You don't really need an outside "conductor" (as she calls herself) to do it, although that can certainly help. In the book she tells you how to attune yourself to the angelic frequency.

This book seemed very accessible to me when I first got it and still does. The authors seem like ordinary people who happened upon angel communication. Their method for getting started is very simple. I was amazed at the things I was writing in my journal from the beginning, even though there's a part of me that will always be skeptical.

Messengers of Light: The Angels' Guide to Spiritual Growth
This book got me through some challenging times in my life. The author encourages us to stay positive and laugh as much as possible in order to attract angels. There are many fun, light-hearted, exercises to do to start working with angels, as well as the author's own take on different types of angels. It has always made me feel good to pick it up and read even just a page or two. I also own "Guardians of Hope", which focuses more on the self-help aspects of working with angels, and "Creating With the Angels", which focuses on creativity.

Ask Your Angels
I've had this book in my library for a long time but am just now getting to the point where I can get into it. There is a strong focus on meditating in order to be a clear channel, and I have resisted doing that. I'd rather just jump in. But, after looking at it while making this lens, I can see that there are a lot of useful exercises and tools in the latter part of the book. This one would appeal to those a little farther out on the new age spectrum of spirituality.

I clearly can't get enough of this stuff! LOL I just added this book to my collection in the last six months. Like AngelSpeake, it's a bit more practical and simplified. And just plain fun to read.

I've had this book for a couple of years, having gotten it by "accident" from a book club. I've been reading it now as research for this lens and feel like it's the most useful of them all for me right now.
Despite the glamorous background of the psychic who wrote the book, he advocates taking a lot of the glamor out of angel communication, and bringing it back-down-to-earth. He does have a method to use, that he describes in detail, but he uses more of a storytelling format than a how-to format in his writing.

Interview with an Angel
The most interesting part of this book, to me, is the lengthy introduction about channeling throughout history. The actual interview with the angel is very reminiscent of the "Conversation With God" books, at least to me.

Opening to Channel: How to Connect with Your Guide (Roman, Sanaya)
"Opening to Channel" was one of the first, if not THE first, book widely available about channeling. I've had it for years and I still get the "warm fuzzies" when reading any books by "Oren" and "Daben". Doesn't matter whether I'm in a state of scepticism or not - the vibration is high.

Healing With The Angels Oracle Cards (Large Card Decks)
If you don't feel able to try direct communication, these cards, as well as the Archangel Oracle Cards, by Doreen Virtue, have proven to give me accurate readings. They don't predict the future, but they give you the feeling that the angels are paying attention to you.

Universal Cards: Angelically Inspired
I've had these cards for a decade, but have only used them rarely. They consist of an extensive set of word cards and a book with explanations. I have found that the explanations make the overall reading more fuzzy than clear, for me, but maybe I'm just not evolved enough yet to get the most use out of them. ;-) The meanings are more spiritual and less practical. However, if you're reading this and they seem to call for you, they must be what you need right now.
