An Angelic Encounter - My Story
One of my first encounters with angels was back in 1986 on a public street when my husband Steve and I took the day off from work to go get our marriage license. It was not in a time of distress that an angel appeared to us and we both somehow knew from the feeling the encounter left us with.
We were (and still are) very happy together, it was a beautiful spring day and I guess we looked like a young couple in love, Steve was 25 and I was 22. We both noticed an old man with white hair coming up the street towards us as we were just about to walk into the courthouse.
He smiled at us and we smiled back, as we passed him by he turned around and said something we didn't quite hear so we both turned around to look at him. As we did he he said with the most amazing smile and twinkling blue eyes, "Bless you!" as if he knew we were about to embark on a journey. Steve and I both felt a divine presence when he said this but did not bring it up until later on that day.
There's no way for us to prove he was an angel, of course ... He could very well have just been a sweet old man taking a walk down the street. But for some odd reason, we both felt touched by his blessing words and there was something about him that said it was more, it was like a presence and we both felt it. We still remember it very vividly to this day 25 years later. Oh, and by the way, we have had a wonderful 25 years so far and are still very much in love with each other.

The Angel of CREATIVITY
Being an artistic person I can get an inspiration or thought for a new painting at any time during the day or night. I truly feel my ideas come from a divine or higher source of inspiration that powers my imagination. They have to come from somewhere, right? lol!
Creativity is not limited to the arts however. It is the energy power and inspiration that we put into everything that we do. Creativity is not what we bring into being, but how we live life.
One of the chief duties of the angels is to sing praises to God. Their reason for being is literally their song. Our own creativity is like that, too. When we find our true song, the music we are called to make in life, we become divine instruments of praise to God and we participate fully in creation.

What is Joy?
Is it happiness? Is it freedom from wanting things? Often we mistake joy for lack of want. We think that by having everything we could possibly want we will be joyful.
Perhaps you've discovered that material things don't necessarily guarantee you happiness. Money doesn't guarantee joy, nor does health or relationships.
Joy is not something that happens on the outside and works its way in. Joy starts from within and then touches the outer world.

What does it mean to have FAITH?
Faith moves in the realm of the unseen. It can not be measured or held. Faith connects the physical world with the spiritual world, or the mind of God.
It is through faith that we come to terms with the laws of the universe, that our thoughts create our reality - this is also defined as The Law of Attraction. What we think becomes manifest. What we believe comes to pass.
If we could see the miracle of a single flower, our whole world would change.

Guardian Angels
Some people claim, with utmost sincerity, that they have a guardian angel. There are many other people who completely dismiss the idea that such beings exist. Even non believers though when visually assaulted with images of angels at Christmas time, receive unconscious messages from a divine entity.
Whether you are aware of it or not, angels have always been with you. Your own guardian angel has been with you from the beginning, in accordance with God's creation.
Guardian angels are with us from lifetime to lifetime. In addition to your personal guardian angel, you have many other angels around you. They are called to assist you with different things in life and when their purpose is fulfilled they depart and other angels come to be with you. At any given time you have a multitude of angels around you. Your guardian angel, however, remains with you always.
References to angels, whether one acknowledges their actual existence or not, bring to mind notions of God and heaven. The term "angel" is derived from the Greek word angelos, which means "messenger."
