Hey, I want you to know that I am here for you, yes all of you who are addicted to your laptops, you who cannot leave home without it.  You who sit up till all hours browsing away and you who go to your laptops even before going to the bathroom... yikes!!!  Let's get one thing straight right now.  You have a life don't you.  Well what on earth are you doing spending hours upon hours here?  If you have not got a life, go now and create one.  If you don't know how I will guide you.  I am here for YOU.

What is the first thing you think when you wake up in the morning?  Is it "here I go again... work, work, work..." or maybe "I really should get up and go for a walk... but it's so snug here in bed..."  I too have been guilty and sometimes still are of these thoughts.  What I am learning to do now as soon as I wake up, is that I sit up in bed and say "I'm having a great day" and smile.  It changes your whole outlook of what the day is going to bring.  Give it a go and it would be interesting to hear your thoughts on how you are going with this.

Do You Have a Successful Mindset?

Your mindset is the sum total of your beliefs, values, identity, expectations, attitudes, habits, decisions, opinions and thought patterns... about yourself, others and how life works. It's the filter through which you interpret what you see and experience.

Your mindset shapes your life and draws to you results that are an exact reflection of it. What you believe will happen, happens.

Thoughts are powerful magnets. Whatever our mindset tells us, that's what we attract, whether or not we're even aware of what our mindset is! For example, if you have the belief that "Life is very hard and I have to struggle just to stay even," you don't have to be aware of that belief in order to experience struggle. If fact, if you want to see what your mindset really is, you have only to look at your life and your results. The Bible tells us, "According to your beliefs it shall be done unto you."

When we don't examine our mindset and question whether it supports us or limit us, we are operating "on automatic." We are no longer choosing our beliefs and mindset, but they nevertheless cause us to live a certain way. We create our own mindset, but at some point, our mindset creates us. If we don't question a belief that "life is hard," for instance, we are going to keep struggling without even knowing why.

What is your mindset? Whatever you "think" about must come about. How may you be limiting your results?

Be grateful... Miracles happen!

Being in a state of gratitude makes your day so much more fulfilling.

It's seems that sometimes life is slipping by and before we know it we come to a point in our lives where we just stop and think "What am I here for?"

I have found that being in a state of gratitude definitely changes my whole outlook on life. It's not easy at first but it is a simple discipline that can change the way we view life.

When I have had an opportunity to think about the things in my life that I am grateful for on a daily basis, it's amazing what things show up. I am not talking about being elated but truly grateful. These are the things that impact the way we think and therefore impact what actions we take on to make a difference in not only our lives, but the lives of those around us.

The thing I like most about being in a state of gratitude is that unexpected things show up as well. I have been doing a fair bit of research in connection with Internet marketing and I have found resources that I never knew existed.

I was given a task by my mentor and of course being "addicted to my laptop" I didn't mind one bit as I started my research into social networking and free traffic to my blogs that I author. It's amazing once you start to browse around and join communities such as squidoo.com how all of a sudden people just start showing up that can help you on your way. My mind is wide open to new information as there is a lot of space to fill in there, lol.

The point that I am trying to make here is that being grateful and feeling good about your life attracts more of the things that you can be grateful for and make you feel good.

Keep a gratitude diary and write 5 things that you are grateful for every day and make sure that they are 5 different things every day and you will see a change in your life. I have and everyday I expect a miracle. Life is wonderful if you just give it a chance.

Dean discovered an amazing fact that helps you to understand why we behave the way we do and why it can be so hard to change our behaviour
and beliefs.

This fact came to light when Dean was trying to find out why his parents went bankrupt after having a big win on the lottery and provides us
with some answers as to why we keep making the same mistakes over and over again.

Inspiration

Inspiration comes forth from within. It's what the light burning within you is about, as opposed to motivation, which is doing it because if you don't do it, there will be negative repercussions.

Motivation is making myself do something that I don't really want to do. Inspiration is having the clear picture of what I am wanting -- and letting Universal forces come into play to get the outcome.

Happiness Is...

I was thinking today how when I am happy, I have a smile on my face all day long and the feeling of just being totally satisfied with life just makes the day so much more fulfilling. So here is a list of things that make me happy...

Waking up before my children do so I can see there smiling faces as soon as they start their day.

Checking my email messages to see who has passed on an inspiring note.

Having that hot cup of coffee to settle down and check my messages with.

Waiting to see what abundance the Universe will bring me and I will tell you something here... when you are in alignment with what the Universe has to give you, the day is all that more special.

Meeting interesting new people from all over the world as part of my work I do on the Internet.

Getting my children out the door on time for school.

Having my mother call me to ask me to do something for her as I know this is her way of saying "I love you," lol.

NOTE: Don't forget to Rate 5 STAR, Leave Comments and Share it with your Facebook Friends & Family. WHAT IS SUNSCREEN? Wear Sunscreen or the Sunscreen Speech are the common names of an essay actually called "Advice, like youth, probably just wasted on the young" written by Mary Schmich and published in the Chicago Tribune as a column in 1997. The most popular and well-known form of the essay is the successful music single released in 1999, credited to Baz Luhrmann. Mary Schmich's "Advice, like youth, probably just wasted on the young" was published in the Chicago Tribune as a column on June 1, 1997. In her introduction to the column, she described it as the commencement address she would give if she were asked to give one. The column soon became the subject of an urban legend, in which it was alleged to be an MIT commencement speech given by author Kurt Vonnegut in that same year (in truth, MIT's commencement speaker that year was Kofi Annan). Despite a follow-up article by Mary Schmich on August 3, 1997, in which she referred to the "lawless swamp of cyberspace" that had made her and Kurt Vonnegut "one", by 1999 the falsely attributed story was widespread. When the column was later turned into a song, Schmich's "wish" came true when the University of Zagreb's Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing started to play the song Everybody's Free (To Wear Sunscreen) at every graduation ceremony. The poem-like piece has drawn frequent comparison to the Max Ehrmann poem Desiderata, which was also the subject of an urban legend misattribution. The essay was used in its entirety by Australian film director Baz Luhrmann on his 1998 album Something for Everybody, as "Everybody's Free (To Wear Sunscreen)." The song sampled Luhrmann's remixed version of the song "Everybody's Free (To Feel Good)" by Rozalla. The song was subsequently released as a single (with the opening words changed to "Ladies and gentlemen of the class of '99"). Luhrmann explains that Anton Monsted, Josh Abrahams and he were working on the remix when Monsted received an email with the supposed Vonnegut speech. They decided to use it but were doubtful of getting through to Vonnegut for permission before their deadline, which was only one or two days away. While searching the internet for contact information they came upon the "Sunscreen Controversy" and discovered that Schmich was the actual author. They emailed her and, with her permission, recorded the song the next day. The song features a spoken-word track set over a mellow backing track. The "Wear Sunscreen" speech is narrated by Australian voice actor Lee Perry. The backing is the choral version of "Everybody's Free (To Feel Good)", a 1991 song by Rozalla, used in the film William Shakespeare's Romeo + Juliet. The chorus, also from "Everybody's Free", is sung by Quindon Tarver. The song was a worldwide hit, reaching number 45 on the Billboard Hot 100 in the United States, and number one in the United Kingdom and Ireland, partly due to a media campaign by Radio 1 DJ Chris Moyles. It was a part of the end credits in John Swanbeck's film The Big Kahuna, starring Kevin Spacey, Danny DeVito and Peter Facinelli. The video which uses the 1999 single edit of the song was directed and animated by Bill Barminski. The video aired on all major networks in the United States and was featured on the The Tonight Show, The Today Show and The View as well as VH1 and MTV. Here is the "Everybody's Free (To Wear Sunscreen)" Official Video from the album Something for Everybody. For more information visit: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wear_Sunscreen

Facing the Giants

Facing the Giants Wholeheartedly

We sometimes quit even before we start. We don't think we are strong enough sometimes or it is just simply impossible. But we have to endure it for in the end it is worth it. We need to give our best all the time, in everything we do. God is there beside us telling us we can finish this race!
