I learned about Angel Food Ministries by accident when I was looking for a way to help save money. The economy has hit our family just like everyone else and we have seen our bills go up but not our paychecks. I had been paying over $200 a week just on groceries and things for the kids and the house. It was very frustrating because it seemed like we could never get caught up. A Financial counselor told me about an organization that offers food for almost half the price of what I was paying.
She told me about Angel Food Ministries. And I told her that I wasn't looking for charity. I mean we were making it and I knew there were many families way worse off. But she explained that this program is for everyone. If you eat you qualify!
We have been using Angel Food for a few months now and have saved over $300.00 each month!
