Origami Angry Birds Folding Projects from Simple to Advanced
- Red and Blue Angry Bird Paper Box Toys
- Not really origami but 2 paper box toys which you can cut and fold, these are so neat I had to include them. Older kids would be able to do this easily.
- Red Angry Bird Intermediate to Advanced
- A Red Angry Bird is based on a Cardinal bird. Here's the instructions to make one but you need to fold it in red paper. This is a tricky project.
- Blue Angry Bird in 8 Steps
- The Blue Angry bird could be loosely based on a bluebird. Here's an easy 8 step origami folding project which kids and adults can make.
- White Angry Bird Easy to Intermediate
- The White Angry bird is based on a chicken or rooster. Here's a easy to intermediate step-by-step photo instruction to follow.
- White Angry Bird in 11 Steps
- An easy White Angry Bird (chicken) which you can fold in just 11 steps using the step-by-step photos.
- White Angry Bird Laying Eggs!
- This is so cool. Here we've got instructions to fold an egg-laying hen in 22 steps. Just use white paper and it will look like an egg-laying White Angry Bird!

- A Green Angry Bird is loosely based on a Toucanet. The nearest to that is a Toucan which also has a huge beak. Here's a real easy 8 step Toucan origami instructions. Use some green paper.

My Red Angry Birds Origami

This is my paper folded Red Angry Bird - otherwise known as a male Northern Cardinal bird which is what the red Angry Bird is really based on! This origami project isn't for the faint hearted. It took me many attempts although I'll admit that I'm only at an intermediate stage of origami folding. There are many more links to origami Angry Bird characters below from easy to advanced. I added a red angry bird plush on top of this brilliant photo of a Cardinal so you can see the resemblance. Isn't this really cool. So trust me when I say that to make a great Red Angry Bird, you should be looking for cardinal origami diagrams like the ones supplied above.

Angry Birds Origami Pigs!
Here's the origami pigs I've folded in tribute to the game! The one on the right is a fairly easy model which comes from the book 'Easy Origami' by John Montroll. The green pig on the left, which is such a cutie, is folded from the instructions in the book 'Favorite Animals in Origami' also by John Montroll. This author has a great range of origami books, the instructions are simple black and white origami diagrams but the models are fab.
