Most of us pass through these four stages of growth: knowledge, noticing, choice and change.
After each change it is important to pause and acknlowledge your success - so that the learning of success becomes a habit! This feel-good factor leads to further successes! Rushing headlong to the next objective (without the pause for acknowledgement) tends to wear people out; they may not integrate their learning and so end up less successful and happy then people who do take pauses for acknowledgement and self-reflection.These pauses add to learning and development.

Coaching for Wellbeing & Success
Do you want more wellbeing and success in your life? Can you have enough? People at all levels of wellbeing and success tend to want a boost. We can take time out or read books and all that is useful. Coaching, however, can achieve more because a good coach will 'stretch' you to challenge the things you think (and do) that get in the way of success and well-being. The diagram shows the comfort zone in the centre - we find it hard to truly test ourselves so a coach can push us further into the 'stretch' zone. And that means greater learning! Self-coaching can help but it is limited in that we tend to miss our own patterns of thinking and behaviour! That is because they just are... and hence the term 'patterns'. Because they are 'subconscious'. If you employ a good coach to spot those patterns, you can make that next leap! Wellbeing - how do you get it?

Lots of people focus on goals. But goals are not enough. We need to know what outcomes we want and check that each goal will satisfy some of those outcomes. For example, the goal of being a helicopter pilot will not necessarily hit a leading outcome about wanting close working relationships with others - most often, it is quite isolated job!
