Up and Coming Actor
Angus Redford Sutherland
Who is he?
Presently, very little is still known about Angus Sutherland. Perhaps this will change with up coming movie releases or something will finally spill the beans. What we do know is Angus Redford Sutherland is the youngest son of Donald Sutherland and Francine Racette. His extended family includes older brothers Roeg and Rossif, half-brother Kiefer, and half-sister Rachel. Born September 3rd, 1979, (verified through Kiefer's biography) in Vancouver, BC, Canada, Angus speaks fluent French in addition to English.
His father bestowed the middle name of "Redford" in homage to actor/director Robert Redford, who directed Donald Sutherland in Ordinary People. His first on-screen role was on the American television drama Commander In Chief in 2005. Angus played the young Nathan Templeton (the character his father Donald was playing in the series) in an episode titled "Rubie Dubidoux and the Brown Bound Express". The episode is available on iTunes.
It seems Angus is starting to pull roles that share common ground with his family. After appearing as a younger version of his father's character, he is set to star in Lost Boys: The Tribe as the vampire leader Shane. Ironically, twenty years ago half-brother Kiefer starred in The Lost Boys as the vampire leader David. The Tribe was released in July 2008.
Angus had a supporting role as a model named 'Anton' in Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay. For those who see the movie, Angus appears in the last ten minutes. Blink and you'll miss him.
Also forthcoming is Familiar Strangers, in which Angus plays Walker. This movie appears to be a family comedy/drama but hasn't yet seen a release date. He is set to play Matt in The Flicker's Dance, to be released in 2009.
Angus appeared in an episode of the FOX series Dollhouse, playing Iilya in the episode "True Believer". If you missed it, the episode is avaliable on Hulu.com.
In interviews, Rossif has stated he and Angus took up boxing together. Images of the youngest Sutherland are slowly trickling in. A handful from a screening of Pride and Prejudice in 2005, which was attended by Donald and Angus, as well as promotional images from various movies are featured below.

Yes , the first movie was obviously better, but I agree with most Angus made the movie worth watching. He needs to get more movie roles because he can keep a movie going. He is sexy and mysterious. I like that. He was so sexy during the love scene especially with the new cry little sister song playing . I am glad though that they didn't use that one remix version of that song that was on the special features because it sucked. that movie wouldn't be nothing without angus, that song, corey feldman and corey haim. I also thought that corey haim should have got a bigger part. But for the most part., yes angus is fine and we all know this.
