I have to say both games are great, but AC still holds a special place in my heart. It's just so much fun, even if it can get tedious at times. There's so many different things you can focus on (like filling the museum, paying off your debt, furnishing your house, keeping up the town).
Which one do you think is better and why?

I love them both so much, you can become obsessed with them both, they are both so peaceful, but unlike Animal Crossing, Harvest moon has a storyline and an aim, but that also means you can complete whereas AC you can play it FOREVER!!!

obviously none of you ever played the OG harvest moon for the playstation. If comparing the current incarnations, AC wins hands down but City Folk still gets a big ole' bone where the sun don't shine from OG harvest moon. Even 10+ years later there are still more features and bigger maps, more characters, and lets not forget the whole love thing, you can woo a girl and get married in harvest moon. pretty sure i'd never want to marry my neighbor in animal crossing.
