It's hard to find toys to entertain children for under $10, but Animal Finger Puppets are just that.

You can just imagine how I was hunting hard to find ways to wear out my 18-month-old granddaughter. She was refusing to take a nap while I babysat her for the weekend and I was in need of a nap!
What I found was her little collection of finger puppets! First, I tried telling her a story, but that wasn't active enough. So, we switched to dancing the little puppets and that did the trick. After nearly an hour of both of us dancing around with the puppets on our fingers, she finally sat down and promptly fell sound asleep right on the floor.
Don't you know I was relieved!
When I told my daughter this story, she assured me that those finger puppets were a popular way to get her to fall asleep! Ah, the joys of toddlers.

- I love animal finger puppets! They are a great gift idea and not just for kids - a friend of the family loves pandas and I wanted something small to post to her for Christmas, so I got her a panda finger puppet to add to her collection. She loved it!
