How Do You Support Your Local Animal Shelter?

- Love the lens! I have always adopted my pets through a shelter (as opposed to purchasing them in a store, etc.) and we donate whenever we get a chance. Have also taken in many strays over the years as well. Can never turn away an animal in need. Keep up the good work - Kudos!

- I got my two cats from the Humane Society and my dog, well, from the woods. We found her when she was a puppy. I'd personally never buy an animal from a pet store or breeder. Too many unwanted, unloved animals in the world. Anyhow, great lens!

- As a small animal rescue center, we depend entirely on our volunteers. They are a god-send to us. Your list of supplies needed is so right on. We need money donations, yes, but when we get supplies, we are overjoyed. That helps us out, too. We have just set up our lens: http://squidoo.com/buckhawk and would love any feedback.
