Animal adoption centers

the list of endangered species is already alarming and growing bigger all the time. We can help these species and our planet by using animal adoption schemes set up to preserve the species and their natural habitat.

It is a sad fact that humans are likely to cause the extinction of a quarter of all known species in the next 20 years, unless we work together to protect them now.

The Aspinall Foundation works in conjunction with Howletts and Port Lympne Wild Animal Parks to protect rare and endangered animals, and return them to protected areas in the wild.

By adopting an animal today you will be giving endangered species a chance of survival for the future. From just £3 per month you will be helping to protect, feed, keep healthy and enriched through play, the animals in our care in Kent and around the world.

Adopt an  animal today

Adopt a animal with the World Wildlife Fund (WWF)

The World Wildlife Fund (WWF), have an adoption scheme that works very well. The idea is to choose an animal from their Animals for Adoption program and commit to paying an amount of money each month. The money goes towards the conservation of that animal in it's natural surroundings. The WWF doesn't
operate zoos but is committed to preserving endangered species in their natural habitat.

The choice of animals that the WWF offers is the Giant Panda, Orangutan, Bottlenose Dolphin, Bengal Tiger, Asian Elephant and Black Rhino. The Animals for Adoption scheme enables you to feel part of the excellent work that the WWF does. On joining the scheme and choosing your individual animal, you
receive a certificate, a photograph of the animal and a soft toy. You also get a fact sheet about the species and information on how to be environmentally aware. This information explains how to adopt white tigers or other endangered species for adoption.

Each species is on the endangered list for one eason or another and would be in an even worse state if not for the public support of the WWF and similar organizations.
With the WWF you can adopt an black rhino, oragutang, dolphin, Asian elephant, tiger or polar bear
