This lens is not for the faint very graphic animal attacks so viewer beware
On a personal note
I really dont enjoy looking at these horrific sites but listen if it helps someone to survive and attack or to maybe learn some saftey tips on what to do when you are attacked by an animal that would be satisfactory enough for me. So take the info in and please if you are quemish BEWARE!!! What do you do if you are attacked by a mountain lion?
Mountain Lion attack
No matter how seasoned of a hiker you are there is nothing more startling than seeing a mountain lion approaching you. Although this is rare, it still can happen at anytime day or night.Mountian Lions are plentiful in areas where there is a large deer population and that means the mountainous areas where you may well be hiking. As long as the food source is there the lions do not bother humans generally but in leaner times the lions have been known to stalk and also attack humans on the trail. We really do not know when the lean times are so to be prepared and know what to do in case of attack is your first step in being prepared.
Second thing never hike alone. Hike in groups the more the better.always make noise when in areas that mountain lions frequent and live. The noise you make will generally scare the lion away and halt any confrontation. Mountain Lions are attracted to children like many other animals.Never, when hiking with your children, let them wander away or stray off the trail unnoticed.
Never run away from a mountian lion.Running stimulates a mountain lions natural instinct to chase. Be sure to always make contact with the lion and stand up as tall as possible. By making yourself look larger it intimidates the lion and often makes them turn and run. Open your jacket and flap it about, yell, throw stones but make sure you react so that the cat knows that you are the one in control, not him. If there are children present, pick them up immediately and never turn your back on a lion, or squat down while retrieving the child.
Never bend over crouch down it makes you look like 4 legged pray to a mountain lion. you are attacked, fight back. Never succumb or roll into a ball. Hit as hard as possible especially to the head area. If you can retrieve a stick or large rock ,use it as a weapon. If face to face with the cat, go for the eyes by clawing or throwning sand in the face of the cat. Mountain lions will usually strike the back of the head and especially the neck so be vigiliant to protect these areas and if at all possible remain standing or face to face with the animal once it is attacking.
If you are attacked from the back try to reposition yourself to meet the cat face to face. Mountain lions usually weigh between one hundred to one hundred and fifty pounds so if at all possible to get the cat off your back throw it over and forward. This manuever if you can complete it will also sometimes stun the cat and give you a chance to grab a weapon and defend yourself face to face with the animal.
Under no circumstances fall to the ground and roll into a fetal position. If you do this your chances of survival are limited because once you are down the cat sees you as nothing but small prey. The cat will also have the advantage of getting ahold of you and successfully win the battle.
If indeed you are attacked by an animal in the wild report this attack to Fish and Game, or the Ranger in the area as soon as possible.
Remember mountain lions are unpredictable but they still usually avoid confrontations. Attacks are on the upswing but still rare. The chances that you will even have an encounter with a lion in the wilderness is rare, but be prepared and know what to do if the situation ever arises. It is always better to be safe and prepared, than sorry.

What to do if a bear attacks!
There are things to do if the bear does attack that might save your life. If a bear attacks, fall to the ground and play dead. Try to lie flat on your stomach or curl into a ball and try to keep your hands behind your neck. Lying flat and still make the bear think you are no longer a threat and often they will stop the attack and leave. Stay motionless as long as you can since if you move and the bear is still within sight or hearing it may attack again. If a bear thinks you are food and continues biting after you have taken a defensive posture fight back as best you can.Pepper sprays have been used to keep bears from getting within their 30-40 foot range, but they are inherently dangerous to the user as the wind may blow the spray back at you. If you carry spray, plan your use of it well and learn about wind directions in its use.

Shark Attack Tips
Stay away from the mouths of rivers after heavy rains, when freshwater fishes and other animals are swept out to sea.Swim clear of fishing boats. They often trail fish remains and blood, which can draw sharks.
If you're bleeding, including menstruating, stay on the beach. Sharks can smell and taste even the smallest amount of blood from over a mile (1.6 kilometers) away and trace it back to its source.
If you cut or injure yourself in the water, get out! Do not stay in the water with blood around you.
Stay out of the water if fish blood or baitfish are present. In other words, steer clear of fishers.
Avoid large groups of fish, seals, or sea lions. They all are prominent on the shark's menu.
Stay away if you see large groups of dolphins and seabirds. They are attracted to the same food sharks eat. And don't make the mistake of thinking that if dolphins are present, there won't be any sharks around. Dolphins can be prey for large sharks.
Stay away from dead animals in the water.
Stay out of the water at dawn, dusk, and night, when some species of sharks may move inshore to feed on fish. Sharks are well equipped to locate prey even when visibility is poor.
Avoid murky waters, harbor entrances, channels, and steep drop-offs. These areas are frequented by sharks.
Leave the water quickly and calmly if a shark is sighted. Do not provoke, harass, or entice a shark, even a small one.
If fish or turtles start to behave erratically, leave the water. They may be behaving like that because there is a shark in the area.
If you feel something brush up against you, get out of the water to make sure that you have not been bitten. There have been reports that shark-bite victims often do not feel any pain.
Swim, surf, or dive with other people. Sharks most often attack individuals.
Don't wander too far from shore. Doing so isolates you and places you away from assistance.
If you are diving and are approached by a shark, stay as still as possible.
WHAT TO DO IF YOU'RE ATTACKED
If attack is imminent, defend yourself with whatever weapons you can, advises the ReefQuest Centre for Shark Research. "Avoid using your [bare] hands or feet if you can avoid it; if not, concentrate your blows against the shark's delicate eyes or gills." A shark's snout is also said to be sensitive.
If a shark actually gets you in its mouth, says ISAF's George Burgess, "I advise to be as aggressively defensive as you are able. 'Playing dead' does not work. Pound the shark in any way possible. Try to claw at the eyes and gill openings, two very sensitive areas."
If bitten, try to stop the bleeding. Leave the water as efficiently, calmly, and swiftly as possible. While many sharks will not bite again, you cannot rule out a second attack.
Get immediate medical attention, no matter how small the injury

Corcodile attacks.
Crocodilians and their kin--kill hundreds of people each year. While most of these attacks occur in Africa and Asia, these powerful reptiles are also found in parts of South America, Australia, and the southern United States. Crocodilians typically do not include humans in their diet, but in truth they will eat just about anything if given the opportunity. They will also defend their territory vigorously, especially during mating season. The best way to stay safe in these animals' habitat is to give the creatures space and exercise caution around water where they may live. In the event that you are attacked, you may be able to survive if you fight back strategically. More Animal Attacks
Killer Whale attacks on humans
These animals should not have the name of Killer. These Orca Attacks on humans in the wild are virtually unheard of. In fact, the much smaller "Pilot Whale", has been responsible for more attacks on humans than the Killer Whale. The so-called "Killer Whale Attack On A Human" that recently took place was technically not even a "real" attack. For those of us that are privileged to work with exotic animals in captivity, we clearly see the situation as the whale's confusion on the appropriate behavior to use. This was clearly not a deliberate attack on the trainer. If it was a true Killer Whale Attack, rest assured, the trainer would have been killed or hurt. Remember, Killer Whales are actually dolphins and not true whales. They were given the name "Killer Whale" because they frequently hunt and feed upon other cetaceans. Whale attack

Wikipedia
Animals are a major group of mostly multicellular, eukaryotic organisms of the kingdom Animalia or Metazoa. Their body plan eventually becomes fixed as they develop, although some undergo a process of metamorphosis later on in their life. Most animals are motile, meaning they can move spontaneously and independently. All animals are also heterotrophs, meaning they must ingest other organisms for sustenance.
Most known animal phyla appeared in the fossil record as marine species during the Cambrian explosion, about 542 million years ago.
