Horton Hears a Who! Kung Fu Panda is a 2008 animated film about a bungling panda who aspires to be a kung fu warrior. Kung Fu Panda is directed by John Stevenson and Mark Osborne and produced by Melissa Cobb. Although the concept of a kung fu panda has been around since at least 1993, the idea for the film was conceived by Michael Lachance, a DreamWorks Animation executive. Work on the film did not begin until 2004 and the film premièred at the 61st Cannes Film Festival in May 2008. The film was released internationally on June 6, 2008, and was released in the United Kingdom on July 4, 2008. The film was animated by Dreamworks Animation's studio in Glendale, California, and is distributed by Paramount Pictures.The film stars the voices of Jack Black, Jackie Chan, Dustin Hoffman, Angelina Jolie, Lucy Liu, Seth Rogen, David Cross, and Ian McShane. In the United States, it has been rated PG by the MPAA for sequences of martial arts action and mild blood, and in the United Kingdom, PG by the BBFC.
WALL-E
WALL-E (promoted with an interpunct as WALL·E) is a 2008 computer-animated science fiction film produced by Pixar Animation Studios. The film was directed by Andrew Stanton. It follows the story of a robot named WALL-E who is designed to clean up a polluted Earth. He eventually falls in love with another robot named EVE, and follows her into outer space on an adventure.After directing Finding Nemo, another Pixar film, Stanton felt that Pixar achieved believable water physics and was willing to direct a film set in space. Most of the characters do not have human voices; they instead communicate with body language and robotic sounds, designed by Ben Burtt, that resemble voices. It is the first animated feature by Pixar to have several segments featuring live action characters.
Walt Disney Pictures released it in the United States and Canada on June 27, 2008. The film grossed $23.1 million on its opening day, and $63 million during its opening weekend in 3,992 theaters, ranking #1 at the box office. This ranks the third highest-grossing opening weekend for a Pixar film as of July 2008. Following Pixar tradition, WALL-E was paired with a short film titled Presto for its theatrical release. WALL-E received almost universal praise from film critics.

Fly Me to the Moon is a CGI animated feature film. It was released on January 30, 2008 in Belgium, and will be released only in digital 3D theaters and IMAX theaters in the USA on August 8, 2008. It is the first animated film to be designed, created, and released exclusively in 3-D. It will only be released in 3D-capable theaters; a standard, non-3-D version of the film does not exist. Fly Me to the Moon is directed by Ben Stassen and produced by nWave Pictures in association with Illuminata Pictures.The total production budget of Fly Me to the Moon is %u20AC17.3 million. nWave financed about 75% of the budget itself. To raise the rest, investors could benefit from Belgium's Tax Shelter system. The Flanders Audiovisual Fund contributed %u20AC100,000, 10% of its annual budget for animation.
Well before the release of the film, a 13-minute version of Fly Me to the Moon could be experienced at theme parks such as Bellewaerde in Ypres, Belgium. Many Six Flags parks in the US currently show the same version, but in English instead.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars is a 2008 CGI animated science fiction film. It is slated for release on August 14, 2008 in Australia and August 15, 2008 in the United States and United Kingdom. It will be the first Star Wars film to be released to theaters since 2005's Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith and will be the first animated Star Wars feature film in theaters. Igor

The cast includes John Cusack, Sean Hayes, Steve Buscemi, John Cleese, Eddie Izzard, Paul Vogt, and Molly Shannon. Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas is a 1993 animated musical film written and produced by Tim Burton, directed by Henry Selick and scored by Danny Elfman. The film was based on Burton's characters and original story. It was released alongside The Wrong Trousers, a 1993 short film.The film was a critical and commercial success, with particular praise awarded for Tim Burton's original storyline and stop motion animation, combined with Danny Elfman's creative musical score. Following its theatrical, and home video release, the film has earned a significant following, including merchandise, video games and other related media dedicated to the film. The film has also been theatrically re-released on several occasions, including two remastered 3-D versions released in Disney Digital 3-D on October 20, 2006, and October 19, 2007. It is rated PG for "some scary images" by the MPAA. Disney CEO, Michael Eisner, commented that the film was "too dark for children", therefore it would be decided that Disney release the film under Touchstone Pictures. However, the 2006 3-D version of the film was released under the Walt Disney banner.
Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa
Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa (or just simply known as Madagascar 2, 'Madagascar 2: Escape to Africa' or Madagascar: Escape To Africa) is the upcoming 2008 sequel to the 2005 film, Madagascar. It is in production by DreamWorks Animation and is scheduled to be released on November 7, 2008. The film will be distributed by Paramount Pictures. DreamWorks announced on their website that Madagascar will become a franchise similar to that of Shrek. It has been confirmed that the film will be about the animals starting the plane on Madagascar, and then landing in Madagascar, Africa, and meeting some of Alex's family (a plot similar to that of Shrek 2). The movie had two working titles before finally deciding on its current title. The previous titles for the movie included "Madagascar: The Lost Island" and "Madagascar: The Crate Escape", which was featured on a trailer with Ben Stiller. It is also likely that Marty's history will be revealed as well being that there is a baby Marty role in the cast. This will be the first time two stars (Billy Crystal and John Goodman) of a Pixar Movie are side by side in a DreamWorks Movie. Bolt
Bolt is a computer animated film produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios, and will be Disney's 47th animated feature. The story is about Bolt, a white German Shepherd who has lived all his life on the set of a TV show in which he portrays a superhero dog, and as a result thinks that his superpowers are real. Later, he gets accidentally separated from the studio. He then meets a female cat named Mittens and a hamster who never leaves his exercise ball, and eventually he discovers that all of his powers are fake. It stars the voices of John Travolta, Miley Cyrus, Malcolm McDowell, Claire Holt, Diedrich Bader, Nick Swardson, Greg Germann, Susie Essman and Mark Walton. The score will be composed by John Powell.A trailer for the film was released on June 27, 2008, attached to almost all prints of WALL-E.
