Anime Conventions these days..

Anime and Manga are spreading everyday, and it show`s when fans from all over the world come to an "Anime Convention". These animelovers rent car`s, take a plane`s and even get a room at a local hotel near by for these type of events.

It is a big get together of all animelovers to enjoy and even learn about the anime and manga world and some culture of Japan. These events give your self a chance to meet new people that have the same interest`s that you have and even share a few things such as stories, pictures, even facts about your favourite anime.

When going to these event`s you experience a great amount of things such as WorkShops, Panels, Cosplayers and lets say interesting people. All animelovers wait until the anime convention (Animecon) is in town and get up from watch anime on their computers to go enjoy some people who have the same thing in mind.

Their`s even AMV contests that fan`s put together their own AMV and show it off to a group of judges for cash prices and more.

Anime Convention Experiences

Garra from the sand village (cosplay)Walking in to that Convention was one interesting day. Well, to start it off it was raining out and we just drove about two hours to get to the hotel.
We went to the hotel that was actually holding the event so this made each night worth wild. Let me explain, I step out of the car and gather all of my belonging and head over to the check in counter. Well, I didn`t realized that I parked in a place that you are only aloud to stay in for twenty minutes but the lucky thing about this was the fact that I was only checking in and then driving over to the build I was staying in. Well, let me tell you that whole weekend must have been the worst weather ever. Their was no sun out at all, the clouds were completely Gray and plain old dark all around. Honestly, it made me want to go to sleep every time I looked up. I checked in and that was easy except for how they had it set up. Let me tell you, they had the check in desk right in front and off to the left you saw a pretty small door way. Well, this door way was the way to the convention center that was connected to the place. I get that much, but when you have lets say about fifty people in costumes (cosplayers) walking around or sitting on the floor in that tight hall way, and having the check out desk right beside it. I mean talk about a tight squeeze and all. The line for check out wasn`t that bad to be honest but the amount of people in costumes just in the lobby you would think your on another planet or something.

After checking in, I drive my car through the rain and up to my room. I got soaked from the rain I decided to change into something "normal". Going to the convention to check it out was very smooth I felt good now having dry cloths on and about to check out some new Anime/Manga gear. I get into the convention center along with my cousin he loves anime just as much as I do. It was great, we walked around looking at all the stands, and even went to check out the panels , and contests they had going on. I found myself in heaven, but honestly walking around with out a costume for some reason made me feel out of place. The crowds were busy and even though the convention center is big and all it just wasn`t able to handle the amount of teenages, and animelovers walking around. I`m not complaining though, seeing all these people support anime and coming together was a great thing also the fact that everyone for the most part were friendly. You can meet a lot of friendly people at an anime convention and they can become real friends , you can exchange facebooks or phone numbers its all a very real thing. Going to these type of events make you feel like your apart of something and feel like there is some much more to learn about an anime. Also, to have a good conversation with someone about your favourite anime is a feeling you will never forget. I remember standing in line for an AMV contest , and the people behind me were the actually makers of one that was in a contest. The conversation was short and all because I am not very much into talking to complete strangers but having someone their to talk to about something you have in common goes a long way.

The Anime convention experience was dying down at this point and it was because I was getting tired and we were on day two already. I went into a few workshops that were very informative and helped a lot. I learn about comic design and manga design in photoshop along with some voice acting tips and how it can become a career that anyone can get into. I found out things ive never knew about and that was a great feeling of achievement's. This was the night of the Rage, but I wasn`t up for it so I went to the room and decided to watch some of the anime movies they played all day and night long an a selected channel. Me and my cousin both fell asleep to one of the "Naruto" movies. It was so interesting and I wish I didn`t fall asleep on it but it was a good way to end the night.

After all the excitement, the next day was a wash if you want to call it that. The rain kept coming and even though I did a lot I felt like a was missing something. Well, I was really missing how it was all over. It was so much fun but when it comes down to it they all have to end sometime and you have to wait till next year. So here I am waiting for the next one to come around, I am excited about the next one for sure andI plan on dressing up as well. Well, if you ask me I had an Animelovers Anime Convention Experience

I Recommend This Anime/Manga Gear

I Recommend this to top off your "Animelovers Anime Convention Experience". I can really help you feel as if you are in your own world. Remeber that Cosplaying is very important when attending those type of events. "Its best to be safe than be sorry" - quote , well honestly I don`t know how that relates to this... enjoy I have both these items as well, they worked perfected for me! If you don`t know how to Cosplayer then don`t worry there is plenty of ways to learn. Also, if you do not know what Cosplay is don`t worry either.

Anime Convention - Panels

Anime Convention Panel looks like What are Anime Convention Panels?

Well, basically it`s either a group of people or a few people who put together a conversation. Let me explain, You walk into a room either with the lights on or some what off, the panel has a topic kinda like a forum. The topic can vary from simple things to complex things for example a debate on which anime is better Code Geass or Deathnote? or something simple like How to Cosplayer? These things are presented and then they open the floor so that the audience can get involved. Their`s people who try to be smart about things and ask insane, or dumb questions trying to stub the panel or make it funny. Their was once when a guy in the back started to speak up and make comments on everything. They were extremely funny and he ended up taking over the panel as if he hijacked a car on the highway. It was very entertaining and yes it happens but all in all its a little rude don`t you think? Overall, most panels are done with a few people made a side show with some pictures and were trying to make conversation and debates happen. I personally wanted to be in charge of one of those they sound like so much fun.

I personally remember one of my first panels I went in, the lights were dime and I didn`t know what was going to happen. Basically this guy started talking through a mic and explained that he had a AMV to show us and then a slideshow. The panel lasted for sometime and I thought it was very interesting it was about the difference of Darker Than Black (Hei) and Code Geass (Lelouch). I thought that it was very good and done well, the pictures weren`t that bad and for the first one I seen it put a positive spin on things. I like being able to feel comfortable in a panel and in a room with many people I just do not know. Right....

Ever gone to an Anime convention just dressed normal? well, to be honest I have and it wasn`t that bad if you ever feel like you don`t want to Cosplayer or you don`t think your good at cosplaying. Well, its ok! use the alternative and get your self a shirt from here. I personal went around with my cousin dressed in the same shirt from this site! Ioved the shirt and I still wear it along with that day was great. I really enjoy having it and I hope you at least think about it! its a great way to still dress up but not fully if you know what I mean and all.

Anime Convention - Items

Anime Convention Selling Objects Well, as you all know an Anime Convention isn`t all about the Cosplaying, or the Anime and Manga news and information along with all the contests and more. a huge part of an Anime Convention is the selling of items, objects, from everything to everything you can think of.

They have DVDs, T-Shirts, Collectables, Manga Books, Comic Books, Bags, even cosplay costumes and wigs.

The Animecons are for these items that you can buy at a cheap price from someone that is into the same exact stuff that you are into. You can make conversation with these sellers and even learn about what they like from Anime and more.

Selling these items is a big part of Anime conventions all around the world, it`s what keeps them a live and keeps the place in business at times. You need to make sure you at least look around.

Funny story, I was looking around the Manga books and their was a little side of DVD`s on a rack. Well, I went over their to look at them and before I went their I bought a few DVDs from another place about two stands down. The funny thing is that the owner and well I have to admit he wasn`t in the best shape and he smelled horrible. It was kinda like a dying cat to be honest... Anyways he went under my arm and grabbed my bag from me! yes he did? it was crazy I didn`t know what to do.
I gave him a stare and he said that I was standing in that corner for to long and those DVDs could have been from the shelf. So, this guy is accusing me for stealing? yes! I was so shocked at this after he took my bag and all and looked through it. He saw that it wasn`t any of his stuff and he through the bag at me.... I mean hard to? It was my stuff.. Of course me as a nice guy didn`t do anything but if anyone out there has a problem like that do something about it and don`t be a nice guy like me.

That`s my words of advice to you guys. Do not take that and tell someone I was young at the time and my cousin saw it and everything but I should have done something about it you know.

Leave us a comment, complaint, or idea!

You have a lot of great and helpful information in here. Unfortunately I don't think as many people will take the time to read through all of it as should because of simple grammatical errors. Take ten or twenty minutes to clean up the language that this lens could be a real asset for anyone interested in anime/manga/conventions.
