Ann-Margret is truly an amazing all-around superstar! A Swedish superstar. She has twice been nominated for an Academy Award, won five Golden Globe Awards, and received five Emmy nominations.
She was born in Sweden Ann-Margret Olsson and came to the United States at the age of 5. In the 1960s, she was described as a "sex kitten" along with the blonde Joey Heatherton.
In the fast-paced sixties, she soon was known simply as Ann-Margret, dropping her last name of Olsson. And, not so simply, she also was gaining recognition as a "superstar sex symbol."

Ann-Margret is the consummate performer who had been referred to as the "female Elvis." Beautiful, intelligent, and talented, she has managed to survive the fast-paced 1960s, to have a career that is active even today!For those of you who are not familiar with Ann-Margret's early career, please do check out some of her earlier performances.
In August 2007, she began shooting in a new film, The Loss of a Teardrop Diamond. Imagine this, she plays the part of a spinster aunt who controls her family's fortune, until she loses a diamond.

- If there is any way you could pass this message to Ann Margret please do.I can not begin to tell you how much it ment to every service man who served during the Veitnam War that you really cared about them.I never made it over seas,but served four years in the Air Force.May God bless you,and your family all the days of your life.Thank you so very much for the support you showed all of us.You will always be my favorite actress,and I am sure that goe's for every sevice man from that time.Thank you so much.
