Why Anna Nicole?

The Anna Nicole Show was a riot and a curiosity to me. Watching the show made me feel that in her own way, Anna was crying out for help. I began creating Anna art based on what I saw years prior to her untimely demise.

The drama surrounding Anna Nicole's life and death made me wonder about the little girl who will never get to know her mother or brother.

Anna Nicole broke ground with her reality show. Her TV show portrayed the star as she appeared with an entourage, a camera man, and attorney. When watching her show, I saw what appeared to be an interesting, often confused individual. My celebrity portraits begin with heart. I began doing portraits of Anna Nicole years before she died.

    Yes, I used to make fun of Anna when she had her show. It was obvious that she lacked any stability in her life and could have used a mother's guidance. How sad that her life spiraled into drugs and death the way it did.
    Your art celebrating this misguided young woman is quite breathtaking. Well done.

    I stopped by to thank you for my 100th giant like which gave me 100 bonus points but I was absolutely mesmerized by the art of Anna Nicole. I watched her story for years and was heart broken when she died. The art here is amazing. Thank you so much for sharing it.

    It was a real shame, what happened to Anna and her son. I always thought she was much smarter than the "character" she portrayed herself as. When I saw the title of this lens, I thought maybe it was about her art, because I know she created some--and what I saw of her artwork, I really liked. But I really like yours as well.

    In a way I did like her. The show was a riot, but I could see at times the real Anna Nichole screaming for help and trying to escape the never ending roller coaster ride, propelled by the media and of course her lawyer. It's interesting to see this week that he is now on trial for feeding her cocktails of drugs, you just knew there was something wrong, he just seemed too perfect. I felt so sorry for her, and then it all ended in tragedy, just up the road from where I was living in Hollywood, Florida. 5***** for a very nice lens.
