Absolutely Anne Hathaway

I was inspired to create this shrine to Anne Hathaway after I met her in July 2009 after a "Twelfth Night" performance. That's a picture of us above. (I'm the one on the left.)

I look terrible. I haven't slept in twenty-four (actually twenty-seven hours.) I'm so nervous I can't even feel her body under my arm.

Still, I met Anne Hathaway. I got Anne Hathaway's autograph. I even had a nice little chat with her... and made her laugh with the worst joke ever.

But it was more than about Anne Hathaway. It was about the search for shared experiences in a disconnecting age, about the chance to bond with an entire city over one long sleepless night into weird, wild day.
