When I first read it, I didn't think a great deal of it. I liked it, but I wasn't overwhelmed. But as time as gone on, I've found myself thinking back to it, how Annie and Liza got to know each other and became so emotionally attached, even before Annie kisses Liza. It makes their love seem so natural. :)

It is one of the best books i have ever read: It is thoughtful, it is honest and true, and it is not only focused on the romantic love of Liza and Annie. The struggle to keep Liza's school open, and the courage it took her to stand up to the headmaster. And, on top of that, it was about how Liza discovered herself through another. I recall a quote towards the end of the book when Liza is being questioned: "And what we did that they think is wrong, when you pare it all down, is fall in love."

this book is asi asi and is like any other lesbian story stating there "LOVE" was to strong to leave and then reunite typical story.

i dont like it its gross two girls falling in love with each other sorry i just do not like this book. but on the ather hand my friend love it and said "if you did'nt like it why did you buy it?" but i said "here have it if you really like it"
