Did she died because overdose too?
Today i heard that another great singer is dead... Whitney Houston. Because of her history of using drugs and unsuccessful rehabs many of us think about drug overdose.
According to CNN, Beverly Hills Police confirmed the singer was found dead inside a Beverly Hilton hotel room at approximately 3:55 p.m. PT. The cause of death is being investigated.
Whitney was discovered by a member of her entourage, likely a bodyguard. The person called hotel security, who in turn called 911. Whitney was unresponsive (likely already dead) when the EMTs arrived. TMZ's sources claim that the night before her death (Friday), Whitney "partied heavily" at the hotel, "drinking and chatting loudly with friends in the bar." Both Whitney's mother (Cissy) and her cousin (Dionne Warwick) spoke to Whitney just hours before her death, and they both say she sounded fine.
The LAPD's initial assessment is that there is no foul play. TMZ's sources (probably inside the LAPD) claim that "no illegal drugs have been found in the hotel room where Whitney Houston died" but they've found prescription drugs. Allegedly, Whitney was found in the bathtub, and EMTs removed her from the tub, and there are suspicions Whitney might have passed out and drowned. There's also a theory that she simply overdosed. Allegedly, no alcohol was found in the room either.
TMZ says Whitney was taking some prescription drugs... mixed with alcohol = not good. But! Radar says the LAPD found "a plethora of sedatives, and a sleeping medication that was found in her hotel room." The autopsy will take place today or tomorrow, and the assumption (by Radar's sources) is that Whitney accidentally overdosed.
Grammy producers are scrambling to add last-minute tributes to Whitney during tonight's broadcast. Jennifer Hudson is coming on to perform "a respectful musical tribute" to Whitney. Allegedly, Chaka Khan might join her. My guess is that some of Lady Gaga's performance time is being cut to make room for Whitney's tribute.

Another great musician, who died because of drug overdose.The influential American guitarist, 27, was found dead in his girlfriend's London hotel room, although some claim that he died in the ambulance on the way to the hospital. The cause of death noted on the coroner's report was "inhalation of vo..." after "bar... intoxication". Quinal... is the British term for the sleep aid secobarbital; the pills belonged to Hendrix's girlfriend. His death is believed to have been accidental, although some have suggested suicide.

Recorded live on stage in Charlotte,NC on February 21,1977. This is the only time Moody Blue was performed live by Elvis. They had made an attempted at playing it the night before, but the band didn't know the song that well. So Elvis had promised someone in the audience that they would learn it, and play it the next night. This is a soundboard recording and the sound is amazing. It comes from the Import CD "Moody Blue & Other Great Performances" on the Fort Baxter label. The earlier release "Riot In Charlotte" was an audience recording, and the sound was not good to say the least. All picture's in this video of Elvis are from the two show in Charlotte February 20 & 21,1977.
