In Spring 2007, La Roche Posay introduced Anthelios XL SPF 60, which replaced Anthelios L SPF 60. Although Anthelios L SPF 60 offered the best sun protection on the market until this time, the new Anthelios product is even better.
In addition to the active ingredients included in the Anthelios L SPF 60 formulation, the XL formulation includes the addition of Mexoryl XL. Mexoryl XL offers greater UVA protection and when combined with the Mexoryl SX molecule, the result is greater then when either ingredient is used alone.
