When I began my first lens on May 28, 2008, I never expected to have over thirty lenses done prior to three months going by.
On August 18, 2008, when I first published this lensography, I had 32 completed lenses, and five more in progress [See Latest Update Below]. I am also the groupmaster of three groups, and somehow still find time to live a comparatively normal life.
I have attempted to categorize the published lens to make it easier to find whatever YOU might be interested in reading. These categories and the lenses in them will be updated as more lenses are completed. Any Lenses that have not been published yet will be placed at the end in an "under construction" category. They will be moved to the appropriate category as they are published. I intend to always have some lenses "under construction".
Also, I will update my current number of lenses actually published and the current date here as new lenses are added.
* Unless otherwise noted, all lens photos were taken by me

My Journey With Squidoo
Thanks Everyone For Your Support!
Today, January 13, 2009 I Received Notice Of Attainment Of Giant Squid Status

Since my retirement (that word is used very loosely),I have been actively involved in writing, real estate investment, traveling, selling travel, and information-entrepreneuring. I am a published genealogical author and spend as much time as possible pursuing information on my family history and genealogy.
For some years, I have done some network marketing and occasionally some internet marketing. In one of the training papers I was reading, Squidoo.Com was mentioned as one of the best sources to get started building a base and traffic to your other sites. So, I decided to check it out.
I thought it best to concentrate on building some quality sites in several of my major interest areas and worry about the monetizing of them later. I have tried to keep the emphasis on quality even on the shorter ones I have done.
So, what were these areas? The best way to explain this is to give a little more about my background and how I got to where I am. After all, I am a reflection of my interests and my interests are a result of my experiences.
Travel has always been at the top of my list, and writing about travel a close second. I have been traveling since I graduated from High School (and that was a ways back).
Genealogy is a hobby (more like a passion) that I have been involved with for over 35 years. I will be doing lenses on topics related to my family history but not necessarily on my family.
Motivational and success related lenses.
Network Marketing. I have successfully participated in several organizations and will occasionally do a lens on MLM.
Real Estate Investment. This is an area in which I have actively participated since I graduated from High School. I still own investment property and have a book in progress on that subject.
Internet Marketing. It was this interest that drew me first to Squidoo.com. You may find me doing lenses on many topics within that category.
As my interests expand or change, I will change with them (how philosophical, uhh?). I hope you get something out my work and you'll find at least one lens that you enjoy as much as I enjoyed making it.

- You have had some wonderful travels, and I looks forward to enjoying some of them with you through your lenses. This is a very nice lensography, a very unique layout, and it's nice to see something different like this. 5***** and a lot more lens visits from me on the way.
