Anti Ligature LCD Enclosures

With the large demand to care for our prison society, many governmental reviews have uncovered that any prison could be cared for and their accommodate should protect them from themselves as well as others.

Having said that, with refurbishment of prisons and correction facilities, they are now being given LCD televisions for their recreational time as well as in their sleeping accommodation, these are controlled so that they are switched off at a set time.

Now the problem would be if an inmate, depending upon his or her mental health, could harm them selves, especially with an LCD television that is mounted on the wall. So one company LCD Enclosures Global has taken one of their standard products and developed it into an anti ligature LCD enclosure, this actually prevents even a coat hanger entering inside or behind the LCD enclosure, so they could do no harm to themselves. As we do have some responsibility to keep them safe in the prison or correction facility care.

There are several main differences from an outdoor TV enclosure, these anti ligature TV enclosures are manufactured from heavy gauge steel, fully welded for maximum strength, then coated in a non toxic powder coating. The units incorporate a mounting frame for the actual television and even the audio has been taken care of, with high quality stereo speakers fitted to the inside of the protective LCD enclosures, even these are vandal proof and the unique way they are mounted eliminates any external apertures to insert the smallest of items such as a coat hanger.

When mounted to the wall there is no way anything can be inserted, behind the anti ligature LCD enclosure, even the cables have their own unique cable runs inside the enclosure, so no cables exit the unit from any side, top or bottom.
