Hello......

I have loved books ever since I can remember.. Reading is in my genes, in my blood..because, for at least three generations in my family are bookworms... Now, one of those bookworms (meaning myself ) is going online to share her best friends with the world......

What am I reading now ?

Right now, I am into re-reading some of my favourite mysteries of all time.... Yes, Sherlock Homles and Agatha Christie. I am reading ( probably for the 10000th time), The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. No matter how many times I read the book, I still enjoy reading them again, even if I know the whole book by heart........

What's New ?

The newest additions to my collection

I just had a jet-setting visit to Chennai. Went by train and returned by air.... nothing great, one might say... But yes, there was something special this time...
As always, the first place I visit in an aiport is THE BOOK STALL. And Chennai is special, because of HIGGINBOTHAMS. I have been a sporadic visitor to their mai store in Chennai since childhood, and relish the special memories of being taken there by my cousins when I was a kid.....
Anyway, I popped into their branch at the airport, and what do you think I saw first ?????
Books by EDGAR WALLACE... I need to explain here that my father was a great fan of his and had a considerable collection of his books, which we had to donate after his death, due to lack of space... And for the first time in 25 years, I saw a new print of a book which I had heard was in my Dad's collection...
So, guys, here is the latest addition to my colection-- THE THREE OAKS MYSTERY by EDGAR WALLACE.
I am happy to say that I have already finished reading it..... It is a fast paced murder mystery, typical of Edgar Wallace, and would heaartily recommend it to all mystery book lovers.......
