If you are looking for some anxiety attack treatment methods then you are definitely in the right place. I personally struggled with panic attacks and general anxiety for four horrible years. It was a war that I never seemed to be winning until 8 months ago. I am very proud to say that it has been 8 months since my last anxiety attack. Here are some anxiety attack treatment methods which I used (some of which I still use)

1. Do Not Resist Negativity

A of people try and fight away all the bad thoughts when they begin to have an anxiety attack. What they do not realize is that this actually speeds up the rate at which your anxiety attack arrives and makes them more intense. Rather than push them out of your mind, take each one in and dissect it. Look at that thought objectively and see if the fear is rational or not. You will see that it is completely irrational more than 90% of the time.

2. Accept Uncertainty

I found that I made a ton of progress when I just accepted the fact that life is uncertain.

You see, life is never going to go by a script. The very beauty of life is that it is uncertain. Rather than fearing the uncertainty, you must learn to accept and welcome it.

3. Set a Worry Time

This is an anxiety attack treatment that really helped me along.

Rather than spending my days worrying about things, I set aside 10 minutes of "intense" worrying each day. In that time I would think about all the stuff that was stressing my out and why it was stressing me out.

I just let all of my worries out and let my mind run wild for 10 minutes. After that, I would continue with my day and save any other worries for my next session. I did my best not to think about them until then.
