Help Yourself Avoid Anxiety Attacks
Understanding your anxiety attack triggers can be the first step in getting real anxiety attack help. Most anxiety and panic attacks occur right during the middle of the day. Why do you think that is? If you think about it, it makes a lot of sense that the most active part of people's day is also the most stressful. You have more power than you may think you have to avoid the triggers to your anxiety attacks.
Small Lifestyle Changes May Help You Have Fewer Anxiety Attacks
Along with lifestyle factors such as not getting enough solid rest and maybe not eating well enough to help combat the physical symptoms of stress, we also tend to do things that directly contribute to our stress levels. I love to drink coffee all day every day, but I'm well aware that it plays a major part in how calm I am. Coffee leaves me jittery, high strung, mentally scattered, and gives me a huge crash when I come down from it. Not surprisingly, the days that I cut down on or altogether avoid coffee are the one that things leave me much more capable to deal with anything that could trigger an anxiety attack.
I'm not necessarily saying that coffee itself is responsible for any panic attacks I may have, I just want to make the point that knowing what factors contribute to my stressful states truly help me avoid more attacks. I have to take responsibility for avoiding my triggers. It's up to me to be the first one to provide myself with anxiety attack help.

Simplify Your Routines
Another stressor in my life is daily traffic. If I have a list of things to do and I could cut down my list by quickly and easily doing some online bill paying instead of fighting traffic to make make it to the bank then I know that I've cut down on two important triggers for myself - traffic and paying bills. A small bit of planning can help you fend of an anxiety attack!
Be Aware Of The Power You Have
Become aware of how you can reduce the daily stress that you directly contribute to. Often what triggers anxiety attacks is not something we are conscious of, but we don't have to play a larger part of our own stress than is truly necessary. We can help avoid an anxiety attack by taking control of factors that lead us in to stress.
