Anxiety Treatments and Panic Attack Treatments With Natural Medicine!
An anxiety disorder is caused by biological, physiological, and genetic factors.
Anxiety disorders are the most common of all mental health disorders and affect the lives of 19 million people every year in the U.S.
The National Institute of Mental Health estimates that 75% of people with anxiety disorder experience their first anxiety attack or panic attack at an average age of 21.5 years.
Anxiety Symptoms and Panic Attack Symptoms
Anxiety is complicated to diagnose because it is often found to be a side effect of other behaviors, or other medical conditions like hypoglycemia, hyperthyroid, insomnia, premenstrual syndrome and depression. While everyone experiences anxiety in some form, those with anxiety disorders experience anxiety attacks or panic attacks often and irrationally.
As with most disorders, each individual will experience symptoms slightly differently,
Anxiety symptoms and anxiety attack symptoms include:
Sweaty palms
Dizziness
Insomnia
Restlessness
A feeling of uncertainty and apprehension
Increased rate of heartbeat
Rapid breathing
A tingling sensation in the limbs
Excessive fear and dread
About Panic Attacks
Panic attacks are a particularly disabling kind of anxiety disorder. According to the National Institute of Mental Health, Panic Disorder is characterized by repeated episodes of intense fear that occur frequently and without warning.
A Panic Disorder is diagnosed if there are at least three panic attacks within a three-week period in reaction to situations that are not life threatening and which are not associated with physical exertion.
Panic attacks can last anywhere from a couple of minutes to over a half hour.
Panic Attack Symptoms include:
Sweating
Trembling
Rapid heart beat or heart palpitations
Chest pain
Shortness of breath
Choking sensations
Chills or cold flashes
Cramps
Hot flashes
Nausea
Dizziness or faintness
A feeling of unreality or danger
Excessive fear or dread
About Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD)
The National Institute of Health classifies GAD as being excessive worry or anxiety occurring more days than not for at least a six month period.
While everybody experiences anxiety occasionally, people who suffer from G.A.D. experience it so excessively that it can interfere with their ability to perform ordinary tasks.
Generalized Anxiety Disorder is the most difficult of the anxiety disorders to diagnose because it lacks many of the more dramatic symptoms of other anxieties. People with Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD) are not always prone to panic attacks, for example, and do not necessarily fear social situations.
Symptoms of GAD include:
Constant and exaggerated worrisome thoughts
Unnecessary tension about routine events and everyday activities
Edginess and irritability
Jumpiness
Trembling and twitching
Restlessness and an inability to relax
Muscle aches
Easily startled
Sweating
Heart palpitations
Dry mouth
Dizziness
Tingling in hands and feet
Upset stomach
Headaches
Shortness of breath
Impotence
Insomnia
Excessive anxiety, fear, and worry with persistent thoughts of potential misfortune
Constantly on the alert for danger, failure, or disaster
Difficulties in concentration
Anxiety Treatments
There are no quick fixes for Anxiety Disorders. Anxiety Treatments should usually focus heavily on behavioral therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and relaxation techniques. With professional help, Anxiety Attacks and Panic Attacks can often be completely overcome.
To alleviate the anxiety, doctors can recommend different types of therapy, each of which can work equally well. Most doctors recommend cognitive-behavioral therapy, which helps the patient first to identify the cause of his anxiety and panic, talks him through it, and then slowly and carefully exposes him to situations which make him feel anxious and teaches him how to cope. Psychotherapy may be used to help improve self-esteem and understand the causes of the anxiety. Relaxation and imagery techniques are also commonly taught to help those who suffer from Panic Disorder to alleviate symptoms of panic attacks while they are experiencing them.
If left untreated, a Panic Disorder can intensify to a crippling degree and leave some sufferers fearful of even leaving home. Professional help and a true commitment to battling the disorder are necessary components in the ability to overcome anxiety and to begin to lead a less anxiety-ridden, healthier life.
Some therapists treat their clients with anxiety medication drugs like Xanax, other benzodiazepines, anxiolytics, beta blockers, antidepressants, or SSRI's. Each of these drugs are addictive, have harmful side effects, and can have withdrawl effects.
Other Common Types of Anxiety Disorders
Other common types of an Anxiety Disorder are:Social Anxiety Disorder
Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder
Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, (OCD)
Social Anxiety Disorder is characterized by an overwhelming fear of embarrassment, scrutiny or humiliation in social situations which causes people with the condition to avoid normal social activities. Social Anxiety is a Phobic Disorder; and includes a persistent fear and compelling desire to avoid an object or situation to the extent that the person's life, functioning, and relationships are significantly impaired. Examples of phobic events include Social Phobia (fear of embarrassment in social situations) and Agoraphobia (fear of public places), fear of heights, flying, etc. Phobic objects may include anything from animals and insects to numbers or colors. Treatment can include medication or cognitive-behavioral therapy.
Post Traumatic Stress Disorder can occur after witnessing or experiencing a traumatic event like a murder, rape, mugging, car crash or natural disaster. Those who suffer from this disorder can experience the event repeatedly in nightmares and flashbacks and also begin to feel depressed, angry, irritable, can scare easily and become emotionally numb. Post traumatic stress disorder is treated in a similar manner to generalized anxiety disorder and includes identifying stress factors, coping emotionally with the traumatic event, and developing relaxation techniques for coping with anxiety.
Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) may take the form of excessive and intrusive obsessive thoughts, images or impulses that are almost impossible to ignore or stop, even if the individual understands that they are senseless or unfounded. The disorder may also include repetitive and often purposeless behaviors that are often performed according to certain rules and which are sometimes believed to prevent or produce some future situation or event. The person does not find the activity pleasurable, but does experience a sense of relief from tension when performing it. The obsessive thoughts, behaviors or impulses usually interfere significantly with functioning. More information and help for OCD is available on my Natural Medicine Lens
Self Help Anxiety Treatments
There are many things that you can do to control or significantly reduce the symptoms of anxiety. Most of these take some work and persistence, but believe in yourself and spend time getting to know what works for you and then persevere with it. You will be surprised how much you can help yourself :)You may not have control over what happens in your life, but you can control your reactions to the difficulties you encounter. Granted, it is not easy to control the onset of panic and anxiety; but if you learn to make a habit of controlling your reactions to anxiety, it will be well worth the work involved.
Eliminate "all-or-nothing" thinking. Adopt a more realistic approach to problems.
Eliminate the "winner-take-all" thinking. Adopt an "everybody wins" thinking.
Eliminate trying to do tasks perfectly. Focus on doing tasks "well" instead.
Anticipate your panic. When you feel anxiety and panic coming on, visualize something calming. Don't give into the temptation to self-destruct. Getting angry will not solve anything. If you feel as if your blood is about to boil, take a step back by taking a break away from the situation and reassess your options.
Find the specific causes of your anxiety. Little by little, try to become gradually accustomed to the cause or phobia. By doing so, you will improve your confidence and self-esteem.
Regularly exercise. 45 minutes of exercise 3 to 5 times a week has been shown to have a significant effect on lowering anxiety symptoms.
Get enough sleep. Sleep deprivation can cause anxiety symptoms. Get 7 to 8 hours of sleep a night.
Watch what you eat and drink.Coffee, regular tea, sugary foods, chocolate, carbonated drinks, and alcohol can cause anxiety symptoms. Avoid blood sugar level fluctuations by eating regularly.
Adopt a "me" time. Set aside 15 minutes 2 times a day for yourself. Seek a quiet place where you can unwind, relax, close your eyes, practice deep breathing, and become calm.
Natural Anxiety Treatments and Panic Attack Treatments
While prescription anxiety medication is not usually an appropriate treatment for Panic Disorder, there are natural anxiety treatments that have been used safely and effectively for centuries to treat the symptoms of anxiety attacks and panic attacks. There is an increase of natural anxiety treatments as anxiety disorder patients are opting to stay away from prescription anxiety medications with harmful side effects. Natural Treatments for anxiety are safe and very effective.
The best Natural Anxiety Treatment I've found is called PureCalm PureCalm has been formulated for immediate help to promote inner calmness naturally, help balance unsettled emotions from everyday pressure and stress, promote healthy feelings of well being, lessen the feelings of being flustered, bothered or on-edge, and soothe restlessness and irritability.
All you need to do is have about twelve to twenty drops of PureCalm per day and you will feel yourself more calm and relaxed. PureCalm is 100% natural and does not have any side effects.
The proven natural medicines for anxiety treatments and panic attack treatments in the suggested products include:
Passion flower (or Passiflora Incarnata) Passion flower is used in natural medicine to successfully treat insomnia, anxiety, hyperactivity and nervous tension. Passion flower also alleviates hypertension, nervous tremors, and is used to treat Parkinson's Disease. Passion flower soothes and calms and can lower high blood pressure.
Lemon Balm (or Melissa Officinalis) is a general restorative for the nervous system, can reduce blood pressure, and also calm the digestive system. Lemon Balm has also been used to treat Grave's disease (hyperthyroidism), and to treat depression and insomnia.
Lavendar (or Lavandula Augustifolia) is one of the most popular and best natural panic attack treatments. Lavendar is a general tonic for the nervous system and is well-known for it's calming properties, making it among the most effective ingredients for anxiety disorders.
Hypericum Perforatum (or St. John's Wort) is often hailed as 'Nature's Prozac' and has been traditionally used for centuries to balance mood and safely support routine calm and mental equilibrium.

Natural Panic Atttack Treatment

Natural Anxiety Treatments For Those Pregnant or Nursing
Triple Complex Mood Tonic is our safe, natural anxiety treatment for those who are pregnant or nursing. Triple Complex Mood Tonic is not addictive, and can be discontinued at any time.
I can personally attest to the harmful side effects of taking prescription anxiety medication while pregnant. I have a niece that suffers from anxiety and panic attacks. For a healthy pregnancy, you are supposed to have all prescription anxiety medications out of your system before you become pregnant. My niece didn't, as the pregnancy was not planned. When she became pregnant our family worried and feared she would not be able to carry her baby full term, and that her baby could be deformed mentally and physically - the side effects of anxiety medications. After many tests throughout her pregnancy, we were told the baby was normal; but really weren't convinced until she gave birth. I'm happy to report that she was very fortunate to give birth to a healthy baby boy.
Anxiety Treatment Customer Testimonial
Many of our customers use PureCalm together with MindSoothe. Using MindSoothe daily will promote ongoing emotional health, serotonin balance and feelings of wellbeing, and works well in combination with PureCalm for instant help in those especially trying times.Testimonial:
"I have been running a very stressful business (advertising!) for 6 years now and also went through the whole clubbing scene with ecstasy, Marijuana , acid and cocaine. The combination of intense prolonged stress and drugs almost killed me. The combination of intense prolonged stress and drugs brought me down to a level where my serotonin was empty that I was experiencing multiple nightmares when sleeping and horror images in my mind when awake. I was swamped with multiple anxieties and crippled by panic attacks. I could not go to sleep at night and I could not drive to work in the morning without pulling off the road every so often to try to calm my nerves before causing an accident. I got to a stage where I was CONVINCED I was dying and that it was only a matter of months of internal horror before I finally passed away in some kind of mental hospital, with my wife and family looking on in despair. I wouldn't wish my condition on Hitler! Still, ever hopeful I phoned around and found myself in my first online counseling session with Michelle. 18 months later, and I have been through the most incredible journey of enlightenment and healing with Michelle. She did what I honestly thought was impossible - cure me from myself! From the teachings of Michelle I began to understand so much about me and my life and why things were happening (when you experience multiple anxiety attacks you seriously think you are being possessed by evil!) and most important, what to do about it. I seriously could not believe I could be cured until Michelle showed me the way and brought my life into a sphere of peace and self management. Incredible!
"Now, my business is doing well. In fact I am managing 3 of my own businesses at present, but doing it stress free (besides the usual accepted daily stresses that are natural and not self created or imagined) and have learned to be assertive without worry, positive without realizing it and organized without stressing about it. You hear of the disadvantages of being blind, or deaf, or losing both legs, but nothing is as crippling as anxiety and depression! I am constantly amazed as I apply Michelle's teachings and see the good energies that surround me as a result. people are attracted to me and my businesses which is creating a team of enthusiastic people that are helping me create my dreams - all because I now pulse inside and outside with peace and focus and enthusiasm.
"Part of the treatment from Michelle was her amazing non-addictive herbal remedies like MindSoothe and PureCalm which acted like shock-absorbers from life as you learned to recover until you got to a stage where you could continue without any help other than your own common sense.
"These sessions with Michelle have been the most important thing that ever happened to me. If you are struggling with life, from mere little worries to intense life-crippling paranoia, go and see Michelle now, it will be the best thing you will ever do in your life

- anxiety is a feeling of nervousness, apprehension, fear, or worry. Some fears and worries are justified, such as worry about a loved one or in anticipation of taking a quiz, test, or other examination. Kava also can help to reduce your anxiety.
