Anxious, fearful or over-excited feelings have to be expressed.

For most of us pet owners, our pets become a part of the family. Unlike children they can't always express what they are feeling or tell us that they are distressed. The best that they can do is show "bad behavior" such as barking, whimpering, running away, or tearing up stuff.

But it seems that as soon as we can get them in our arms and give a "hug" they settle down and everything is fine again until the next thunder storm or other loud noise, separation from the family, being put in a transportation carrier to visit the vet office or any other event in the life of our pets. Up until now there wasn't a way that Rover could feel protected in these frightening situation.
