Pink denotes selfless, unconditional love and fends off feelings of loneliness. In short, it is a wonderful healing, balancing colour and is completely safe to use by those with no knowledge of, or training in color therapy.

Pink is easily introduced into your life by carrying or working with pink crystals, wearing pink, eating pink foods, having pink around the house or using light. As if all that wasn't incentive enough a pink tinted light bulb will knock years off your appearance. Pink is a pale red color; the use of the word for the color was first recorded in the late 17th century?pink, n.? and adj.²?, Oxford English Dictionary Online, describing the flowers of pinks, flowering plants in the genus Dianthus. Pink itself is a combination of red and white. Other tints of pink may be combinations of rose and white, magenta and white, or orange and white.

Roseus is a Latin word meaning "rosy" or "pink."
