Reviewing Educational Apps for Kids

I am having a blast reviewing these apps on my website.

All reviews include videos and there are parent safety tips as well.
We believe that the videos are a valuable tool to our parents and caregivers when they are considering an app.

As in any other business, deciding which apps to feature can be a bit challenging. The hardest part is knowing a developer worked hard to put an app together but it is missing things that are critical. These apps need to be enticing so our kids keep coming back to them. In addition, they need to have some sort of reward, praise, or positive reinforcement to really be effective.

I have reviewed many apps in a variety of categories in search of educational apps. I am sure it is challenging at times for the developer to decide what category an app should be in. Some of the math and ABC apps we love are in the education category yet they are also games. They make it fun, challenging and rewarding for the kids to keep "playing", all the while the are learning.

I also look in the music category and have found some great apps to introduce our kids to instruments, sounds and images, and some include memorization skill games to liven things up.

Striving for a rounded education, I also look at the fitness and health category. I found several great ones for kids. Recently I reviewed and published the review on my site call Super Stretch. A fantastic was to introduce yoga and breathing and coping skills to our kids. It s also a great app for the whole family to start or end the day with.

A favorite app type of mine is the book app. I have reviewed several and it is amazing to watch these kids as the book springs to life. In addition, the book app reviews that we do choose to publish always offer a valuable lesson in some aspect of social skills. These are tools that will help our kids and our society throughout life. The book apps let kids tap the images to see and hear the name of them and tap a sentence to go over it again. Seeing and hearing these words in context is a valuable tool toward reading readiness.

An app that I reviewed this month is Rumpelstiltskin. This book app has truly raised the bar for book app developers. It is in 3D and kids can use a finger to scroll around the room and explore. It is so well done you actually feel like you are in it with the other characters.

The imagination of our developers never ceases to amaze me and is constantly improving.

For our little ones there are superb fundamental talents apps in the app shop. I have carefully reviewed and done video on all of them. From ABC's to reading and on to all the other elementary subjects, all for less than 2 dollars each.

Would you prefer to interject the child to the world of sweet-sounding instruments? There is an exceptional app for that. Simon Says is an app with dozens of fantastic instruments, shown in superb graphic and instructing little ones on the sounds they make as well as the instrument's name. An included benefit is that it was additionally fashioned to be a memorization game to improve those talents as well.

What about offering your children the joy of yoga? There is an app for that as well. It is Super Stretch, and fashioned for youngsters. It is even a possibility to turn the process into a day-to-day household event for the whole family.

My Playhome is an app that can easily strengthen the foundation of family functioning and playing collectively. Additional social talent tools may be located in several of our book apps. They are fashioned to be interactive as the little ones can easily tap the characters and see and hear the names. It is an aid to reading readiness as the books are actually so luring.

The book apps that I have given my grandson all have one thing, the gift of teaching social talents. This is ever growing more essential in our speedily changing life. Watching exactly how one's actions have an influence on others is an important lesson. Several preschool little ones really don't have the possibility to experience this till their school days. If they have the primary down prior to school they will accomplish considerably more desirably and have a few things to model to the other students. These apps are generally $ 3 or less, now that is a beneficial gift.

The cost of a book app might be $ 3, the gift of it's influence on world can be priceless.

Apps can be a great teaching tool if the right ones are chosen. Like alot of things on the Internet that is crap, there are also apps that are crap. Having someone like you to review and recommend children apps is great.

We should not be afraid to pay a few dollars for a learning app when we spend a lot more on other stuff for our kids.

    Thanks!
