Is there anything this stuff won't cure?

I had been suffering with headaches for years and they were getting progressively worse after moving to Nova Scotia where the climate is quite damp. Humid in the summer and up to your armpits in snow in the wintertime.

I'd undergone MRI scans of my head which pointed to a chronic sinus infection where the only thing the doctors could do was either;
1. Leave it.
2. Take high strength steroids to suppress the symptoms
3. Break bones in my face to widen the sinus cavities.

Is it really as good as people say it is??

Disgust - but if it works! Not wishing to have any of the above I thought there must be some natural cure and amazingly there was (clue is in the title). I found a 32oz bottle of apple cider vinegar in the health food section of the local grocery store and paid about $3 for it so not bad so far!

Then I opened the bottle. This is where things started to go downhill a little. It stinks - a bit like rotten cider. A little unsurprising you may say as that is exactly what it is.

I now began to think it was overpriced at $3!

I put two tablespoons in a glass of water and downed it as quick as I could. It didn't come back which was a good sign so I quickly downed my bowl of porridge and a nice cup of tea to get rid of the taste. It did but a few minutes after I happened to give a little belch. Not a trace of tea or porridge - the after taste was ALL apple cider vinegar!

The vile stuff is working!

I have been taking the vile stuff for a month now and - NO headaches (apart from a hangover induced by an over-indulgence of egg-nog. Well it is Christmas!).

I did look into a tablet form, but according to what I've read it seems as though the tablets don't work as well. Oh well, I still hate the taste but it works and I am only halfway through the bottle.

My wife read that it is good for stopping hot flashes so she started her trial this morning. Hopefully it works - I'll up date soon.

UPDATE:

One week into my wife taking the apple cider vinegar she's had a couple of better sleeps without hot flashes, but the jury is still out as to whether it will work fully. She does seem to have an excessive amount of hot flashes - but we're hoping it will help more as the time progresses.

Unfortunately it hasn't worked for my wife with the hot flashes. I've read that some people have had success though with reducing them - I guess everyone is different, but it's worth trying.

As for me and my headaches - a real success story still.

    I hadn't heard of this before. Will have to give it a try. Thanks for sharing. (And several women I know swear by Black Cohosh for all sorts of problems related to menopause. If she hasn't tried it yet, she might want to give that a try.)
