Before you study some of the adverse opinions, please consider this was BEFORE the new firmware upgrade 1.0.3 came out so unfortunately they had less competent clickwheels, i-tunes ruining etc. Also some individuals basically did NOT upgrade their firmware for whatever purpose but A LOT of those issues have been resolved with the new firmware so UPGRADE YOUR FIRMWARE AS SOON AS YOU GET YOUR IPOD! It will create a BIG difference!**

Ok, on to the evaluation..I just got my 80 gb mp3 vintage lately with a 3 season prolonged assistance strategy, instantly got i-tunes edition 7.5 and improved the firmware instantly to 1.0.3 which seems to have taken proper good A LOT of insects individuals have been coverage. The thinness of it is very luxurious and terrible this mp3 just looks awesome. I got the mp3 up and managing quickly after I moved my popular music over. Love the look for function as well. There is a lot of functions, configurations and extra's. Heck I even like time.

PLEASE NOTE:TURN OFF & DON'T use the EQ (equalizer setting)if you want typical distortions no cost audio. I was using the EQ and considered why a lot of my audio had distortions. I imagined it was due to the bad audio everyone was dealing with until I flipped OFF the EQ. Upon transforming the EQ off, the distortions faded absolutely, the audio was just excellent, decent actually. It's a waste that you have to convert off the EQ configurations to get excellent audio. Hopefully The apple company will fix this with a firmware upgrade.

I almost got one of the ipod touch apple ipods but the very place is what kept me from doing so. 80 gb is a lot of place for my popular music, a bit of video clips etc. It might not have wireless or a touchscreen technology but it's got a lot of place for my popular music and that's what counts! I really like my mp3 vintage, can't discover much to be fussy about except for the audio when EQ is empowered. It does exactly what it's expected to, is simple to get around, video clips look crisp/great on it and most of all it supports a crapload of popular music. It is important to upgrade your firmware to the latest edition, disarm EQ and get a couple of headsets. One of the best elements about the mp3 vintage is that because it has so much place, I don't have to fear about how many mp3's I put on it. I've never downloadable so many mp3's in my life! I basically put my complete selection of mp3's on it and still have a lot of place eventually left. Overall, I amount the mp3 vintage 80 gb (black)...absolutely fantastic.
