With every product there are positives and negatives. This holds true with the new Apple iPod touch as well. But don't get discouraged because the pros solidly outweigh the cons.

PROS (Just a few - there are SO many!)

One of the most positive features has to be the two-camera setup. With the FaceTime app, this allows your friends to not only see you as you talk but you can also let them view what you are seeing and where you are seeing it at.

Another great positive is the quality of screen resolution. This "Retina display" makes viewing the web as well as reading ebooks so much easier due to the incredible clarity.

HD video recording along with easy video editing capability

CONS

While the addition of the two-camera system is fantastic, the picture quality is a bit lacking.

Another "missing" feature is the GPS which so many of us now enjoy.

Other cons:

A compass (magnetometer)
Memory could be much better
Difficult to grip due to the thin design
The chrome back easily scratches

All in all, the Apple iPod touch features are enough to keep anyone happy and entertained for hours.
