Place all of the breadcrumbs on a baking sheet. Bake for approximately 8 minutes.

In a saucepan, melt the butter and add the spices, pepper, salt, and vegetables. Add the fruit, then saute the vegetables for about ten minutes. Add approximately 1 tablespoon of extra butter if the mixture becomes dry during heating. After ten minutes, the mixture should be soft.

Combine with the cooked bread crumbs and chicken stock. Stuff your bird as normal! This recipe should cover a 10-15 pound bird. For larger birds, be sure to double this recipe, since everyone will want seconds!

I need an option in your favorite food poll that reads, "all of the above." We tried a new Italian sausage stuffing this year; it was good but our ordinary one was better. One day I'll get the lens done about it.

I miss the cornbread and spicy sausage stuffing Grandma used to make.

mmm, I missed this one at the holidays, but it sounds great. I'm going to feature it on a new lens I'm doing about apples (won't have it done for a day or two).
